Yesterday on our Portland edition of Sports Business Radio I caught up with Rick Kaplan, the agent for Portland Trail Blazers center Marcus Camby - who recently signed a two-year extension with the Trail Blazers. Kaplan and I discussed how the deal came to fruition and how he originially began working with Marcus Camby. Kaplan also shared some interesting insight into the world of a sports agent. We have known each other since the early 1990's when I worked for the Portland Trail Blazers and Rick worked for the Winter Hawks. Rick is one of the sharpest people you will ever meet.
