New York Knicks guard Baron Davis is expected to make his team debut sometime towards the end of January. Davis is currently dealing with a back injury and he is hoping the join the Knicks as soon as possible. Coach Mike D’Antoni spoke to the media and told them the timetable for return for the former All-Star. “The end of January more or less.”
Davis signed a deal with the Knicks during his rehab process and in the meantime, the Knicks are forced to play Mike Bibby and Toney Douglas at the point guard position.
However, the Knicks cannot expect Davis to be the answer to all their problems. He is not a proven defender and his history of injuries cannot be something to smile about.
