For those of you that are into fashion documentaries, Cleveland Cavaliers Baron Davis upcoming documentary is something that you might need to check out.

Thanks to the NBA Lockout, Mr. Davis will be working on it more and it might be coming out relatively soon:
Mr. Davis has spent much of his time during the NBA's lockout developing a documentary about the decline of style in the U.S.

The documentary, "American Schlub," is in pre-production. It takes aim at the poor sartorial standards of the American male, says Mr. Davis, who plays for the Cleveland Cavaliers. "We used to be fashion forward," he laments. Now, "We're more of a sweats and Ugg boots type of society," he says. "We wanted to challenge men, from that perspective."

Add Baron Davis’s name to the growing list of NBA Fashionistos. (I don’t think that’s a word but you get my point, yes?) Baron Davis Is Making A Documentary About The Decline In Men's Fashion

That is really a headline I never imagined I'd ever write when I started this website. Then again, I didn't actually think I'd be writing anything at this site while the NBA was actually not open for business either.  Since it isn't though, and our guy Baron Davis has a lot of time on his hands, that's what I'm writing because that's what he's doing...

Baron Davis speaks about his forthcoming documentary on men’s style

Few NBA players are as well-suited for lockout life than unemployed former Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Baron Davis. In part, that's because Baron has often seemed more interested in his life off the court over the past few seasons than in what he can do on it, whether it's been producing films or just generally acting as a Hollywood gadfly. Not surprisingly, Baron already...

Baron Davis making documentary on decline in men’s fashion. Top that.

What have you done with your lockout vacation? Fly around the nation playing in every pro/am or celebrity game you could find? Travel through Asia selling shoes and playing in exhibition games? Baron Davis Looking to ‘Challenge’ Men’s Fashion in Documentary

The NBA’s pre-eminent hipster has spent his lockout time working on a documentary, which he says is aimed at exploring what he sees as the steep fall of men’s fashion. The WSJ has the details: “Baron Davis is normally driven to distraction at this time of year by swarming defenses mustered against him on the courts of the National Basketball Association. But Mr. Davis, a 32...

Casspi Makes Smart Move, Signs With Maccabi For Rest of Lockout

If I were an NBA player watching "the nuclear winter of the NBA" detonate yesterday, I would want to sign up with a team like Maccabi Tel Aviv right about now too. I'm not an NBA'er, Omri Casspi is though, and after he watched what went down yesterday in New York along with all of us it was announced that he'd be doing specifically that. According to The...

Cavs' Gibson staying positive in lockout

Daniel Gibson is seemingly trying to take the NBA lockout in stride. Not surprising, since the Cavaliers guard has always been known for his upbeat attitude and allegiance to the game. Gibson visited the studios of WKNR radio Wednesday and addressed topics ranging from the lockout to commissioner David Stern to former teammate LeBron James. He also stated the fact he has no plans...

Add Samardo Samuels to list of guys frustrated with union

There are plenty of NBA players grumbling about the NBPA’s move to file a disclaimer of interest and move the lockout to the courts. But only a few are willing to make those concerns public. There are a few out there, and you can add Cavaliers forward Samardo Samuels to that list, as he told…
