This was probably inevitable. After a putrid 2 and 15 start the Washington Wizards fired head coach Flip Saunders. Saunders was in his 3rd season as coach of the Wizards and amassed a 51 and 130 record over his tenure in Washington, failing, obviously, to make the playoffs in any of his seasons.
