The teenage daughter of Robert “Big Shot” Horry succumbed to a rare genetic disease and passed away. Ashlyn Horry 17 suffered her whole life from 1p36 deletion syndrome, a rare condition that occurs when part of the a person’s first chromosome is missing. The condition is very rare and little is known about courses of treatment to prevent the disease from progressing. After going through several surgeries and many instances where the family prepared for the end.
Robert Horry released a statement to the Los Angeles Times on Tuesday. ”My little girl was the light of my life and my family’s. It’s been tough, but we were blessed to have her for the time we did.”
