The Los Angeles Clippers received good news regarding Blake Griffin's injured ankle yesterday, as an MRI revealed a moderate sprain and no further damage, according to the Orange County Register.Griffin's injury was initially referred to as a high ankle sprain, but it doesn't seem to be quite as severe based on the results of the recent procedure. Still, it was bad enough to clearly impact Griffin's performance in Game 5, and it ultimately caused him to exit the contest.Considering he left Game 5 early, Griffin is listed as questionable to play tomorrow night when the Clippers once again take on the Memphis Grizzlies. He's day-to-day, and he's told reporters that this is the worst ankle sprain he's dealt with during his playing career.Griffin sustained the injury during practice prior to Game 5 when he landed on the foot of teammate Lamar Odom. He said it had improved entering Game 5, but it began bothering him again once the contest began. It's to be determined if Griffin can make it through a full game with the aid of treatment following a few days off. After taking the first two games of the series, the Clippers have dropped three straight and will attempt to stave off elimination tomorrow.Follow @hoopsinjurynews
