PORTLAND After a very light practice on Friday, Blake Griffin said he was feeling better after retweaking his left ankle in the first quarter of Thursday night's game at Phoenix.
Griffin did some shooting at the practice, and the team said the All-Star power forward is expected to be in the starting lineup Saturday night against the Portland Trail Blazers.
Griffin said he first...
LOS ANGELES -- The Clippers are back in their "happy place," as Lamar Odom called it Sunday night.
They played team defense and kept a positive energy. They got everyone involved offensively. They shared the ball.
Most of all, they put an end to their four-game losing streak, and at the perfect time. Their 96-83 win over the Portland Trail Blazers at Staples Center avenged...
Chris Paul won't be playing for the Los Angeles Clippers Saturday against Portland. CP3 hasn't played since aggravating his kneecap injury on January 21.
Eric Bledsoe will start, and he's been an excellent understudy. In five starts, he's averaging 12.4 points, 5 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 2.4 steals and 1 block in 30.4 minutes. He's also made two 3-pointers in...
Blake Griffin tweaked an ankle injury Thursday that he originally suffered in the Clippers' loss to the Golden State Warriors, according to the Los Angeles Clippers.
BG on L ankle: "I really injured it 3 days ago against [GSW]. It got better but I kind of re-tweaked it. It’s not terrible." Update tomorrow

via LA Times:
The Clippers know Lamar Odom isn’t shooting the basketball well, but the team still wants him to take his shots. They want Odom to be more aggressive on the offensive end. They especially want Odom to look for his shot more than he has. Before the Clippers played the Portland Trail Blazers on Saturday night at the Rose Garden, Odom had taken a total of 200 shots...
LOS ANGELES -- This time, the Los Angeles Clippers finished what they started. One night after surrendering the final 10 points of the game in an excruciating loss to the Trail Blazers, the Clippers reversed the result in a 96-83 victory over Portland at sold-out Staples Center. In the process, the Clippers halted a four-game losing streak despite playing without star guard Chris...

Last season, the Los Angeles Clippers pronounced that they had arrived and were going to be contenders in the Western Conference. This year, not a lot has changed, but the addition of Jamal Crawford has clearly brought the team to the next level, where it can certainly feel like it has a shot of winning the NBA title this year.
Jamal Crawford has been quickly taking names with his deadly crossover. Wesley Matthews gets so confused that he just gives up with a wave of the hand. Jamal Crawford has been doing these things for years on players. He might be the most underrated ball handler in the league with devastating moves like this. Wesley Matthews never stood a chance.
If you took a poll among fans as to who has the best crossover in the NBA, I’m sure Jamal Crawford would at the very least be right in the middle of the discussion.
But after this crossover last night, he may have just secured the title.
PORTLAND, Ore. -- Jamal Crawford was pretty sure he was going to be the hero for his new team on his old stomping grounds. When Crawford's 20-foot jump shot bounced off the rim as time expired Saturady, guaranteeing the Portland Trail Blazers a 101-100 victory over Crawford's Los Angeles Clippers, he was as surprised as the Rose Garden throng was elated. "I thought...
On Saturday, Jamal Crawford and his Clippers traveled North to face the Blazers at Portland’s Rose Garden, the arena in which he played his home games last season. In those home games, he scored just 13.5 points per game on 40.5% from the floor and 30.9% from three. As the numbers indicate, Crawford’s stint with the Blazers was a yearlong struggle. He was bad, the team...
It's uncertain when Chris Paul will return.
That leaves plenty of questions about how the Los Angeles Clippers are going to improve their offense.
Paul is likely to miss a third consecutive game Saturday night when the Pacific Division leaders begin a home-and-home set with the Portland Trail Blazers at the Rose Garden.
Paul played last Saturday and Monday after missing Los...
