Former San Antonio Spurs forward Bruce Bowen has been making some significant additions to his trophy case over the past few months.He was recently inducted into the Cal State-Fullerton Hall of Fame, will have his jersey retired by the Spurs next month and over the weekend he joined San Antonio's elite in the field of sports by being inducted with he 2012 class into the San Antonio Sports Hall of Fame.Our friends at News4WOAI were at the tribute on Friday to speak with Bowen and some of the other inductees.

  • It's about time they honor the best perimeter defender of all time. People just don't give Bowen any respect. He was one of the catalysts for the spurs, and won 3 championships to prove it. The big 3 for were Duncan, Parker, and Bowen. Not Duncan, Parker, and Ginobili. Defense always wins championships!
  • If you don't think Bruce Bowen is great defender, then you people don't know **** about basketball!
