Brandon Roy's career appears to be in jeopardy again after another setback with his surgically repaired right knee. Roy signed with the Minnesota Timberwolves in the off-season. He played five games before suffering a knee injury, and now his return to the hardwood is uncertain. The Associated Press reported that Roy gave a status update on his knee, which underwent arthroscopic surgery in December. Roy said he was feeling good ... so good that he was close to playing in a game. But pain in his knee last Saturday derailed his comeback. Roy reportedlystill wants to play this season. There isn't a timetable for him to get back on the court. Don't count on Roy coming back, though. He should not be owned in any fantasy leagues. Photo: Roy's Facebook.

Wolves Wednesday: Twin towers on the way?

MINNEAPOLIS Nikola Pekovic couldnt help but laugh. To suggest he might be the recipient of an alley-oop pass would be ridiculous, even though the Timberwolves guards have gotten accustomed to lobbing them up there for his fill-in, Chris Johnson, in recent days. Nikola Pekovic doesn't jump like that. His bulk is not springy, not in the least. Rocks like Pek dont dunk like that...
