Brooklyn Nets center Brook Lopez is probable to play in Friday night’s game against the Detroit Pistons. Lopez has missed the last seven games with a right foot sprain. “I am pretty hopeful that I’m going to play tonight,” Lopez said after Friday’s morning shootaround. “I felt pretty good,” Lopez said. “I’ve been itching to get back out there for a while now. We’ve been taking it slow. We’ll see how I feel when I get back tonight.” Nets coach Avery Johnson said Lopez will be restricted to about 22-24 minutes if he does play. Johnson also said that if Lopez plays on Friday night, he likely won’t play on Saturday night against the Chicago Bulls in the second game of a back-to-back.
