Good news for the Brooklyn Nets, center Brook Lopez's X-rays on his right foot were negative, he has been diagnosed with a mild sprain. Lopez will miss Friday's game against the Orlando Magic and Saturday's game against the Miami Heat. Nets general manager Billy King was relieved when he heard Lopez would only miss two games.  When he heard Lopez would need X-rays he couldn't help but think about what happened last Dec. 21 in New York. “I remember when [athletic trainer] Timmy [Walsh] told me when [Lopez] first fractured it in the Knicks game in the preseason,

Kris Humphries shows off his Rondo inflicted damage

Celtics Life's own Mark Vandeusen was sitting about 15 rows behind the Nets bench and reported that you could see giant scratch marks on Humphries' left shoulder after the Rondo altercation. He wasn't lying. Anyone know where I can get a quick Tetanus shot in Boston?lockerz.com/s/265003890— Kris Humphries (@KrisHumphries) November 29, 2012 p.s. Just caught that the...

Lopez to sit out with sprained foot

Brooklyn Nets center Brook Lopez will miss the next two games with a mild sprain of his right foot. The Nets said Thursday that X-rays were negative, but the injury could be a concern given Lopez's foot problems last season. He missed 32 games after breaking that foot in the preseason, and an ankle injury after he returned aggravated the foot injury. Lopez ended up getting...

Vote: Did Rajon Rondo Deserve to Be Suspended Two Games for His Altercation With Kris Humphries?

On Wednesday, the Nets’ Kris Humphries put a hard foul on Kevin Garnett, and Rajon Rondo went relatively ballistic. As soon as Garnett wend down to the floor, Rondo went after Humphries, engaging the power forward that spilled into the stands as Gerald Wallace and other teammates got involved. Rondo, Humphries and Wallace were all ejected, but most suspected that wouldn’t be...

Kris Humphries Tweets Photo of Arm After Fight With Rondo

Kris Humphries might be more of a diva than his X-Wife Kim Kardashian.  And that's hard to do.  He tweeted this picture of his arm/shoulder after last nights fight with Rajon Rondo and Kevin Garnett which you can watch here.  At first I thought the punch to Garnett by Humphries was on accident, but I hate this guy so much I'm changing my opinion.  He probably just did...

Biggest Brawl Since Boston Bus Riots

Kris Humphries (3/4/0 with 2 blocks) fouled Kevin Garnett (16/10/1) somewhat hard (his flopping made it look worse than it was). Rajon Rondo (6/1/3 with 2 steals) took exception to the contact, and since NBA players are mature, emotionally well-adjusted individuals, a brawl ensued, resulting in the ejection of Humpy and Rondo. Word has it a towel boy was punched in the face as the...

Kevin Love’s clever play: Joe Johnson fakes out Paul Pierce

Minnesota Timberwolves star Kevin Love is one of the smartest players in the league and that was on display in a game against Golden State. During the third quarter of that game Love found himself caught in midair trying to shot a jump shot. So instead of firing up a bad shot Love fired a pass off the back of teammate Greg Steimsma. Love then got the ball back and drew a foul on...

POTD 11/30/12: Tyler Zeller on Lou Williams

This is a nice dunk, but it’s kind of backwards.  I mean, isn’t it supposed to be the explosively-athletic, highly-experienced perimeter player throwing down over the rookie big man?  That’s normally how the story goes, but instead, Tyler Zeller flipped the script on Lou Williams… Honorable mentions to Dwight Howard and Kris Humphries.  You know what, let’s give Danilo...
