Brooklyn Draft Grade:  Grade C- Picks 41) Tyshawn Taylor, PG; (54) Tornike Shengelia, SF; (57) Ilkan Karaman, PF The Nets are making news not with the draft but in free agency. The Nets could have had an impact in the draft but they traded away their 6th pick for Gerald Wallace. I do like the pick Taylor. Taylor could have went late in the 1st round. Taylor is a 4 year college point guard with great speed and athletic ability. He can get to the rim and has a solid mid-range game. The questions about Taylor are shooting ability and being turnover prone. I would be shocked if the Nets two later picks ever player with the Nets.   Offseason/ Free Agents and Trades: Grade A - The Nets has resigned Gerald Wallace. The terms are thought to be a four-year, $40 Million contract. - The Nets acquired All Star Joe Johnson from the Atlanta Hawks in a trade. return the Hawks got Anthony Morrow, Jordan Farmar, Jordan Williams, Johan Petro, DeShawn Stevenson and Houston’s 2013 lottery...

The NBA season has yet to get started, but the busy summer of player movements and re-signings got us thinking – will this realignment drastically change the postseason picture?
