"He looked good," Lakers Coach Mike Brown said. "His foot was hurt, but he's fine."
Bryant, who didn't speak to reporters after practice, was stretching with the Lakers' training staff when the facility was open to the media. Brown provided little detail on what exactly led to the soreness in Bryant's foot, but the Lakers don't consider the injury that serious.

The Lakers didn't provide details on how Kobe Bryant's foot injury happened.
Kobe Hurting? Kobe Bryant sat out both of the Lakers' practices Friday because of a foot injury. Which foot? The Lakers won't tell us, which makes me think the injury is not all that serious. Bryant will suffer his share of minor injuries in 2012-13, but this is probably nothing to be too concerned about a month away from real games.
