MILWAUKEE The Milwaukee Bucks have assigned rookie guard Doron Lamb back to Fort Wayne of the D-League, general manager John Hammond announced Sunday. This will be Lamb's second stint in the D-League, as he was first assigned to the Mad Ants on Jan. 12. He appeared in two games for Ft. Wayne and averaged 7.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game. His shooting struggles carried over to the D-League, as Lamb shot just 22.7 percent from the field. Since being recalled by the Bucks on Jan. 21, Lamb has been inactive for all seven games. The rookie has yet to appear in a game under Jim Boylan and last played for the Bucks on Jan. 5. Finding a niche in the Bucks' rotation in late November, Lamb averaged 15.9 minutes per game during a 15 game stretch, mainly because guard Beno Udrih was out with a sprained right ankle. Taken 42nd overall in the 2012 NBA Draft by the Bucks out of Kentucky, Lamb is averaging 3.4 points per game. Lamb will report to the Mad Ants in time for Monday's game against Canton.
