MILWAUKEE -- In order for the Milwaukee Bucks to take the next step, they're going to have to avoid nights like Saturday.
Playing their fourth game in five days, the Bucks lacked energy from the start and nothing could get them going. The end result was a 94-82 loss to a Cavaliers team that entered losers of six straight and 11 of its last 13.
"Right from the jump ball, we looked really fatigued," Bucks coach Scott Skiles said. "We didn't have a lot of energy. We were kind of walking to our spots. We shot a couple of layups three feet over the rim, shot airballs. We were right and left, short and long."
It's certainly been a long and exhausting week for Milwaukee including an overtime win over Boston Friday night but Cleveland was playing its fourth game in five nights as well.
The Cavaliers had yet to win the second game of a back-to-back in nine tries this season prior to Saturday.
"I think that might be a factor," Bucks center Larr...

MILWAUKEE -- Home, sweet home. Or is it?
While the Milwaukee Bucks are certainly looking forward to spending an extended period time at home, the BMO Harris Bradley Center hasn't been too kind to them this season.
The Bucks have the worst home record among the current playoff teams in the Eastern Conference at 7-6. Milwaukee would certainly take its 7-6 record on the road, but...
KEEP YOUR COOL
Brandon Jennings said that he and Rajon Rondo probably would have fought during Friday's game if not for the prospect of being fined.
Larry Sanders sat on the bench during a late timeout, his mouth gushing blood.
The cut came from one of the multiple times the Bucks forward was hit in the face during Friday's contest. Instead of losing his cool, Sanders hit them back, but not literally. He let his play do the talking.
With the Bucks up three with 18 seconds left in overtime, Sanders blocked Paul Pierce'...

The Bucks did what they had to to win but I'm convinced after watching this again that many of the missed shots were due to fouls not being called on the Bucks. Yes there were open misses but there were also 3 KG layups that missed because he was hacked on the arm. The officials were terrible and it culminated in Jeff Green bleeding on the floor while play went on and the Bucks...
Brandon Jennings and Rajon Rondo likely won’t be exchanging Christmas presents anytime soon, but they were exchanging unpleasentries on Friday night, which almost led to a fight.
The Bucks’ point guard said he almost fought Rondo, but had second thoughts because of the fines he would incur. Rondo bumped Jennings during the first quarter, and the two had some words.
On their fourth game in five nights, the Cavs stopped a few streaks.. First and foremost, they snapped their six game losing streak. In addition, they beat Milwaukee for the first time in ten tries and they stopped their 17-game losing streak to the Central Division. They earned it. It was a complete game. For the second night in a row, all five Cavaliers starters scored in double...

Besides the troubling overtime defeat against the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday night, Doc Rivers’ team felt their hearts stop when Jeff Green fell to the Red Auerbach Parquet Floor holding his face. Luckily for the green team, it isn’t as major as it looked.
Green suffered a hit to the face from the elbow of Milwaukee’s Ersan Ilyasova at the 27-second mark in overtime...
BOSTON -- The Milwaukee Bucks blew a five-point lead in the final 29 seconds of regulation but regrouped in time to escape with a 99-94 overtime win over the Celtics Friday night. The Celtics looked to come out strong against the Milwaukee Bucks tonight in the last of four regular season meetings between these two teams. However, a fast start is exactly the opposite of what actually happened. The C’s missed their first six shots and were 3 for 11 in the first six minutes of the game. [...]
