MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova will miss Tuesday's game against Portland with back and hip injuries.
Ilyasova aggravated a prior injury late in Sunday's win over Orlando, diving into the front row and hitting his hip on the basket standard to save a defensive rebound. The play was a critical one, as Monta Ellis hit a 3-pointer on the ensuing possession to put the Bucks up by four with 13 seconds to play.
"He's banged up pretty good," Bucks coach Jim Boylan said. "He still has some swelling in his hip. He's been getting treatment,, so we'll see where he is.
"Doubtful for tomorrow also (at Atlanta), so he'll probably stay behind and get some more treatment. We'll see if he can come down to Indiana (on Friday)."
With Ilyasova out, Bucks coach Jim Boylan is opting to go with a big front court, starting Samuel Dalembert in his place.
