He’s traveled with the club to New York for tonight’s Game 7 against the Brooklyn Nets, but he’s listed as a game-time decision, according to K.C. Johnson of The Chicago Tribune.Hinrich is traveling to Brooklyn. Deng questionable to travel. Flight is in 2.5 hours. #Bulls— K.C Johnson (@KCJHoop) May 3, 2013 Hinrich suffered his calf injury during Game 4 of the opening-round series while he was taking a charge from Nets guard Deron Williams. He was ruled out for Game 5, and his return was questionable for Game 6. He ultimately missed the team’s last contest – which extended the series to a deciding Game 7 – as he continued to walking gingerly on the leg. While he’s been doing everything he can as far as treatment goes, it’s to be determined if Hinrich has had enough time to recover from his calf injury. He’s a pivotal part of the Bulls’ team, which could also be without forward Luol Deng who’s dealing with the viral flu.Follow @hoopsinjurynews

Give me five Joakim Noahs, please

I’m all heart, mutha*ucka I used to hate Joakim Noah. No reason really. Just ignorance. Probably looked at the histrionics and the off-the-court stuff and just thought this kid was a punk trying to play basketball. A proverbial “energy guy” whose biggest asset was pissing off one of the opposing team’s stars. Consider this the sincerest and most emphatic apology, Mr. Noah...

Deng: Illness more than just flu

Joakim Noah throws down nasty dunk to lead Bulls over Nets

If anything epitomized the Brooklyn Nets' lackadaisical effort and the Chicago Bulls' determination to win Game 7 of their first-round playoff series, it was this nasty dunk by Joakim Noah. No Luol Deng. No Kirk Hinrich. No Derrick Rose. No problem for the 6-foot-11 center as he traipsed through the Nets defense and slammed this third quarter basket as the depleted Bulls...

Bulls-Heat Preview

If needed, there's plenty of things Miami and Chicago could use as extra motivation before meeting in a playoff series, like how the Heat rolled to a win when they met in the Eastern Conference finals two years ago or how the Bulls snapped the reigning champions' 27-game winning streak down the stretch of this regular season. Then again, maybe the simple fact these clubs...
