Michael Jordan is arguably the best player ever to lace up a pair of sneakers in the NBA. He has pro basketball career that reads like something out of a story book.

Countless All-Star appearances, six NBA titles, league MVPs, Finals MVPs, a Hall of Famer, Olympic gold medal and much, much more. So it is pretty much safe to say MJ left an imposing legacy with the Chicago Bulls for any would be star to wear red and black like current Bulls' start Derrick Rose, right?

Think again.

Rose feels MJ's imposing legacy is nothing to be afraid of and looks at it as more of a challenge.

"I've run into him a couple of times, but we don't have a relationship," he says. "His titles drive me. I'm not scared of him; if anything, it makes me work harder when I do train."

As a Bulls fan you got to love his attitude and approach to Jordan's lasting impression on the Bulls. Albeit those are very large shoes to fill as the new super star of the Bulls but if any player can do it, is Rose.

And it begins in this season's NBA playoffs plus Rose being completely healed from dealing with nagging injuries for most of this season.

Currently, the Bulls own the league's best record and are still tops in the Eastern Conference but they have maintained that without Rose for extended periods of time. Now imagine once Rose gets back into the swing of things thus making Chicago one very scary team in the playoffs.

And should Rose lead the Bulls to the NBA Finals (something that hasn't been done since the Jordan era) and win it all, then perhaps it would be time to establish a new legacy for the next Bulls super star to live up to.
