Carmelo Anthony was forced to leave a close game in Charlotte Wednesday night with 2:10 remaining after diving into the stands for a loose ball and suffering a laceration to a finger on his left hand. Carmelo received 5 stitches and did not return to the game. Though Mike Woodson expects the Knicks star to start against the Heat Thursday night, Carmelo did not commit to the game, saying his “finger is so numb he can’t feel it.”
Carmelo says his finger is so numb he can’t feel it. Doesn’t know if he’ll play tomorrow agains the Heat.
