There’s roster turnover, then there’s what the Cleveland Cavaliers are doing ahead of Thursday’s NBA trade deadline.

Nobody is safe, and there are moving pieces all over the damn place. But let’s get to it. And for that, let’s bring in Adrian Wojnarowski. So far this afternoon, the Cavaliers have made three deals. The first, of course, would be sending Isaiah Thomas to the Lakers. But that’s just the start.

Caution: the following contains several Woj bombs.

“Utah has traded Rodney Hood to Cleveland, league source tells ESPN. … Utah will also send Joe Johnson to Sacramento, and Cleveland will send Jae Crowder and Derek Rose to Utah, league sources tell ESPN. Sacramento sends George Hill to the Cavs.”

But wait, there’s more!

“Cleveland sends Iman Shumpert to Kings in deal, league source tells ESPN.”

Oh, and Dwyane Wade heads back to Miami. Because of course he does. Why not? At this rate, only LeBron James and Kevin Love (out injured) are safe. Hell, maybe Love isn’t even safe. Okay, he probably is. Maybe.

“Cleveland is trading Dwyane Wade to Miami, league sources tell ESPN. As Cleveland remade its roster with young, athletic wing players, organization gave him a chance to return home to Miami and worked out a deal to send him back to the Heat, league sources tell ESPN. Miami will send a heavily protected second-round pick to Cleveland for Wade, league sources tell ESPN.”

That just about covers it for the Cavaliers. Wait, no, there’s just one more thing.

“Sources: As part of three-team deal, Cleveland sends 2020 second-round pick via Miami to Sacramento.”

Okay, NOW that’s all… so far. But how much does this help the Cavaliers? Some of this seems pretty solid, but we’re talking about A LOT of roster turnover here. This is like when I start a GM career in NBA 2K — nobody is safe.
