Kyrie Irving, one of the bright spots in the darkness that is the Cleveland Cavaliers, has been sidelined since breaking his finger.  He was the Cavaliers leading scorer at the time of the injury, and his absence has been difficult for the team to overcome.  Luckily, Irving may not be out for too much longer. Irving has been practicing, but only in non-contact practices.  As soon as the team takes part in scrimmages or other contact drills, Irving has to sit.  He is a couple weeks away from full contact practice says Bob Finnan of The News-Herald. The Cavaliers are 4-15 so far this season.  It's been a rough go.  Irving was one of the big draws for fans.  They could go to the games to at least see him light up the scoreboard.  However, Irving fractured his finger after just ten games and has been out since.  And the scoreboards have been a little darker.Irving was the number one overall pick in the 2011 draft.  He seems to have been worth it.  So far this season, Irving is averaging 22.9 points per game.  Last year, he averaged 18.5 points per game.  He has a real shot at making the All-Star team this year even with missing time.  But first he has to get back on the court.Irving fractured his finger November 18th.  When he first hurt the finger, it did not seem all that serious.  He was able to return to the game after all.  Unfortunately, after the game, Irving got an MRI and it revealed the fracture.  Now, he must wait to be cleared by doctors for full contact practice and eventually getting back out on the court.
