CLEVELAND (AP) -- The Cleveland Cavaliers have recalled forward Luke Harangody from Canton, the team's NBA Development League team. Harangody was assigned to the Charge on Jan. 26. He played in three games, averaging 13.3 points and 8.7 rebounds. The 6-foot-8 forward recorded two double-doubles and had a 21-point, 11-rebound against the Los Angeles Defenders last week. Harangody has played in five games with the Cavaliers this season, averaging 2.6 points and 7.6 minutes. The Cavs acquired Harangody, who played at Notre Dame, in a trade last season from Boston. Cleveland next plays at Orlando on Friday.

Varejao and Irving Providing Quite the One-Two Punch

Though a three-game window can only shed so much light, Anderson Varejao and Kyrie Irving are showing quite a pattern when it comes to passing the baton heading into the fourth quarter. Once again, albeit in a loss to the Boston Celtics, the Brazilian big man put together an amazing effort — this time resulting in his first-career 20-point, 20-rebound line — which kept the young...

Cavs G Gibson out of hospital

Cavaliers guard Daniel Gibson could be sidelined for a few more days with a neck infection that landed him in a Boston hospital. Gibson was released Tuesday from Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center with a ''soft tissue'' infection in his neck. Gibson stayed behind after the team played the Celtics on Sunday night. The 25-year-old is being treated with antibiotics...

Doc Rivers: Anderson Varejao is an All-Star

[Anderson] Varejao’s energy is just amazing. It’s amazing to watch him run around relentlessly, and pursue [loose] balls…Varejao’s always an All-Star as far as I’m concerned. I think they should keep a spot for a role player. That’s what he does, he plays his role…He had 20 points and they didn’t run one [offensive] set for him…Down the stretch, he and Kyrie [Irving...

If Cavs Can Get First Round Pick For Sessions, No Reason To Trade Varejao

When this season started, I said that I did not believe it would end with Anderson Varejao playing for the Cavaliers. The reasons I thought so were because it is in the Cavaliers best interest to acquire first round draft picks, and that a number of teams would be willing to include such picks in a trade package for Andy. I also didn't think, at the time, that any other veteran...

Sessions Unfazed By Trade Talk, May Exercise Player Option

The Lakers are reportedly interested in acquiring Cavaliers guard Ramon Sessions.

Scott: Cavs Feel They Can Win No Matter Who They’re Playing

I get the sense that, just, the fact that when we’re in games, we feel we can win. I don’t know if it’s keeping it close or what, but when we play the way we’re capable of playing, we feel we can win the game no matter who we’re playing. [...] That’s the ultimate confidence, when you have a guy [like Kyrie Irving] who can deliver in the crunch like he did [against Boston...

Celtics Live Blog: Jermaine O'Neal Back in Lineup for C's in Cleveland

6:45 p.m.: Anthony Parker and Daniel Gibson are out for the Cavs as just about every team in the NBA can use the word "shorthanded" to describe itself right now. Parker has a sore lower back and Gibson has a scary-sounding "neck infection," the Cleveland Plain-Dealer reports. Gibson, who did not play Monday, has been hospitalized in Boston and is being treated...
