Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving was diagnosed with a hairline fracture in his left index finger, and he will be sidelined at least four weeks. Irving was hurt in the third quarter Saturday during the Cavaliers' home game against the Dallas Mavericks, but X-rays of the finger were negative. He came back the next day to play 37 minutes against the 76ers in Philadelphia, and he finished with nine points and four assists in 37 minutes. An MRI and CT scan Monday at Cleveland Clinic Sports Health revealed the non-displaced fracture. The team announced that Irving would be re-evaluated in two weeks. Irving, the NBA Rookie of the Year last season, is averaging 22.9 points and 5.6 assists per game this season. The Cavaliers have other injury concerns. Guard Daniel Gibson sustained a bruised right elbow in the Dallas game, and he didn't play at Philadelphia. X-rays and an MRI were negative, and he'll be available for action when the Cavaliers host the 76er...
