Waiting For Next Year:
I can’t be positive, but Kyrie was probably whistled for a foul.
It was another three-quarter game for Kyrie Irving and our young Cavaliers. Leading 76-72 after three quarters, the Cavs were twelve minutes of solid basketball away from starting off their five-game West Coast swing with a W. If Byron Scott’s Cavs could close out the Nuggets, they’d have their second (two-game!) win streak of the season.
Cleveland scored just 15 points in the final period.
Was it inevitable? Was it simply the result of a veteran Denver team methodically chipping away at Cleveland’s eleven halftime lead? Do you just chalk it up to growing pains, as this young Cavs team isn’t exactly used to playing with a lead? Did Cleveland simply run out of gas (they scored 30 in the first quarter)? Were they affected by the mile high air (the offense stagnated in the fourth quarter)? Was it coaching (the offense really stagnated in the fourth quarter)? Did the young Cavaliers let the officials get to them (Denver sh...

You turn the page, but the ink’s soaked through again. The Cavaliers played a truly excellent first half tonight in a tough place to win, but they fell back to earth in the second half and gave the game away late with some defensive lapses and offensive stagnancy as the Nuggets held on 98-91 in the Pepsi Center. Kyrie Irving led the charge with 28 points, 7 assists, and 5 steals...
Could LeBron James return to the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2014? The Akron Beacon Journal reports that the franchise is saving its cap space for a possible return of the king. The Ohio newspaper reports that the Cavs will likely sit tight at the trade deadline. From the Beacon Journal: Executives and agents around the league are convinced the Cavaliers won’t do anything to jeopardize...
If you have ever wanted to know how much time and effort and resources go into the creation of the 90-second video that serves as a high-decibel, bright light visual prologue to each and every Cavaliers game, look no further. Jordan Zirm, a New Yorker by the way of Cleveland, has published an extremely well-written piece on the nuances and decisions that went into Machine Gun Kelly...
Welp, I gotta say, this guy is crazy as hell. This video contains about 100 cuss words and other assortments of racial slurs. Doubt you should watch it at work. The video features an LA Clippers fan going buck wild on some Denver Nuggets fans. No idea why the fight started, but the Nuggets fans don't seem to want anything to do with this guy. He proceeds to slap one...
Nuggets forward Kenneth Faried is having a solid second season. In Thursday night’s win against the Orlando Magic, Faried tallied a double double with 19 points and 19 rebounds. Asked about his stats in a post game interview, Faried was surprised and responded with an expletive in amazement. The Nuggets are currently 21-16 and [...]
Danilo Gallinari is keeping pace in a league full of fashion-forward players. Italian luxury fashion house, Iceberg, will outfit Gallinari this NBA season. The company, which is part of the Gilmar group, has designed a series of off-court outfits for the Denver Nuggets small forward.
“Danilo offers a fresh take on versatility, a fine balance between modern bespoke and cool casual...
Danilo Gallinari scored 23 points, hitting a crucial 3-pointer in the waning seconds, and the Denver Nuggets came back to beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 98-91 Friday night after trailing for the most of the game.
Kosta Koufos added a career-high 21 points and Kenneth Faried had 17 points and 11 rebounds to help the Nuggets withstand 22 turnovers, which matched a season high and led...
The Nuggets are outscoring opponents by 10 points at home, the most in the NBA. Thats bad news for the Cavaliers, who could be without Kyrie Irving, who has the flu and missed todays shootaround. Either way, the Cavs have won two of their last four and are coming off an impressive home win over the Hawks. The Nuggets have won three straight, and seven of 10, and hold...
DENVER _ LeBron James opened the door last year on returning to Cleveland. A former Cavaliers coach said he wouldn't be surprised if it happens.
"I think LeBron is at that stage where he's challenging himself to motivate him to do something that's maybe more difficult," Denver coach George Karl told FOX Sports Florida before Friday's game against Cleveland...
LeBron James left the Cleveland Cavaliers a hot mess. It was an ugly breakup, with fans burning his jersey and the owner Dan Gilbert going on a rant saying that the Cavs would win a title before the "so-called King" would. Meanwhile James was in South Beach predicting multiple titles.
Even though the chances are remote, James left the door open for a possible return...
The Denver Nuggets are on the verge of their longest win streak of the season but that run has come mainly against teams with lackluster records.
That will change if the Nuggets can get past the visiting Golden State Warriors on Sunday night, and they might finally have Wilson Chandler available to help them out.
After splitting eight games, Denver has gotten back on track by averaging...
