Dionte Christmas signs with CSKA Moscow

This might be old news for some, but in case you missed it, Dionte Christmas, who was cut from the Celtics' roster on October 16th, recently signed with CSKA Moscow (the same team that former Celtic Nenad Krstic plays for, and one of the top teams in the Euroleague). From R-Sport: U.S. shooting guard Dionte Christmas has signed a one-year deal with CSKA Moscow, the Euroleague...

Jason Terry is a Shooter - Awesome!

I love these NOC Jason Terry is a Celtic videos. Shooting 91% from midrange is pretty incredible. Of course he didn't have a hand in his face or a defender running at him, but as we've seen in recent games, he's pretty good even with a defender on him. I don't know about you, but I'm very glad that Jason Terry is a Celtic! [Discuss on CG Forums!]

Jeff Green’s Dunk Sparks ‘Explicit’ Reaction From Kevin Garnett as Forward Sheds ‘Lackadaisical’ Effort (Video)

BOSTON — Anyone who claims that a dunk is only worth two points has never been in the building when a player delivered a true facial to a helpless defender. Jeff Green produced just such a highlight-reel dunk on Wednesday, when the reserve forward bulled into the lane, elevated over Al Jefferson and slammed the ball home over the reeling Utah Jazz center. The TD Garden crowd erupted...

5 Things Celtics must do to win tonight

[Discuss on CG Forums!] The Celtics, after their big win in Chicago, head back to the Garden tonight to host the Utah Jazz. This won't be noticeable, but earlier today the C's sent Kris Joseph and Fab Melo down to the D-League. So if you for some reason thought they would play, they won't. Here are today's five things that the Celtics must do to win tonight: 5....

I’m a little crazy about Rondo’s 10+ assist streak

The Celtics have underachieved so far this season, but they were finally putting together a solid wire to wire effort Monday night in Chicago.  However, as I watched a 13 point 4th quarter lead dwindle down to 3 with five minutes to go, the score was not what concerned me; Rajon Rondo had only 6 assists. Amazingly in the final 3:12 of the game he assisted on each of the C’s final...

Al Jefferson hints that he'd love to play for Boston again

CSNNE's Sherrod Blakely posted a piece on Al Jefferson's return to Boston after the Celtics-Jazz game on Wednesday night. While most of the discussion about Big Al related to Jeff Green's monster dunk on him, Jefferson scored 13 points and grabbed 14 rebounds against the Celtics, and Doc Rivers highly touted his former player: "He just keeps getting better and...

Just making sure.Let’s skip the foreplay (Boston won 98-93 in a hard-fought game, blah blah) and get right into the bullet points:Jeff Green! Green was fantastic. He got to the line more than anyone besides Paul Pierce...

Comments from the Other Side - Nets 11/16

Two things are certain from the comments. Nets fans hate Courtney Lee. They don't like having more Celtics fans at their games than Nets fans. And, they couldn't deny the fact that they caught several breaks from the refs. They also realize that they lucked out with Rondo's absence. Enjoy today's Comments... No Rondo. Celtics playing the second half of a...

Paul Pierce hit two free throws with 19.5 seconds left and finished with 23 points, lifting the Boston Celtics to a 98-93 win over the Utah Jazz on Wednesday night. Jeff Green and Leandro Barbosa each scored 16 points for the Celtics, who won for the fifth time in six games. Kevin Garnett added 11 points and eight rebounds. Boston's Rajon Rondo had 10 assists before leaving...

I like this.  I can fill the whole ballot with Celtics and Thunder players.   This is the first time I think that's ever happened.  I know I'll be voting every day.   Here's the link if you want to vote.  All Star Ballot Here. [Discuss on CG Forums!]

Jeff Green Has An Aerial Display Directly On Al Jefferson’s Head

Halfway through the fourth quarter of the Utah Jazz and Boston Celtics game, Jeff Green of the Celtics found some superhuman leaping abilities and applied them accordingly. Jeff drove down the lane and dunked over two defenders, but Al Jefferson was the one who ended up on a very life-sized poster. The dunk is an easy early season candidate for dunk of the year. Tonight’s Careless Whispers features Mike D’Antoni, Jeff Green, Mitt Romney, DeMarcus Cousins, Neil Funk and Stacey King, and the Milwaukee Bucks, tonight at 9 ET!

The list of names in the title are subjects for discussion on tonight’s Careless Whispers with Matt Rury and Calvin Chamberlain.  But what are the topics to match them?  Is Mitt Romney the new coach of the Lakers?  Will we be discussing the Milwaukee Bucks bench play for the Celtics?  Was Mike D’Antoni suspended 2 [...]

Video: Jeff Green obliterates Al Jefferson

Every morning, we will give you five things from the night before in the NBA to start your day. They call him "Big Al" but on this particular play during last night's Celtics-Jazz game, Al Jefferson was reduced to "Little Al" by Jeff Green. Let's set it up... The scene: TD Garden, Boston, MA.
