As @KWAPT put it on Facebook, “When all is said and done, this is all that really matters tonight. One friend, there for another. Winning and losing is just not so important.”(Video via @truthtrey)
When a blooper turns into two points. Only Rajon Rondo.

I must have been high this afternoon when I wrote the game preview. For some strange reason, I thought the Celtics wouldn’t look tired. Not sure I’ve been more wrong in my life.
Greg Smith – a 2nd year pro with extensive D-league experience – had 20 points (8-9 FG), 6 rebounds and 3 blocks. I’m willing to bet most of his buckets came within 7 feet of the hoop.
Cruising the Twitterverse late night and I came across the above picture that Antoine Walker retweeted. The tweet is from over a year ago, but I had never seen it. Nor have I seen such a fanatic before. The owner of all this 'Tione stuff is a guy named Matt Clarke from Australia. When this guy says he's Antoine's biggest fan, he's Antoine's BIGGEST fan.
Yes, it’s the 349th day of the year, the 73rd anniversary of the release of Gone With the Wind, and the first day that NBA players who signed this offseason become trade eligible.Among the list of Celtics, it has been said that Courtney Lee is the most likely of the Boston crew to get shipped elsewhere (as per ESPN’s Marc Stein). With the return of Avery Bradley around the...
The Celtics dropped their second straight game, falling to the San Antonio Spurs 103-88. It was the second of back to back games and although the Celtics hung with the Spurs in the first half, they played from behind for much of the game and clearly ran out of gas in the second half and that's when the Spurs took advantage and raced out to a double digit lead.
The Houston Rockets sent forward Terrence Jones and forward/center Donatas Motiejunas to their NBA Developmental League team on Friday. Jones, a 6-foot-9 rookie from Kentucky, and Montiejunas, a 7-footer from Lithuania, will rejoin Rio Grande Valley. Before being recalled to Houston, Jones and Montiejunas had fared well with the Vipers. jones averaged 22.5 points and 17.5 rebounds...

Watching these members of the Houston Rockets belt out the Dreidel Song is truly magnificent, and appropriately timed since we’re smack dab in the middle of Hanukkah. Really brings new meaning to the term eight crazy nights…of terrible singing.
The post The Houston Rockets crooning “The Dreidel Song” will get you into the Hanukkah spirit appeared...
10 a.m. ET: When the Celtics last took the floor against a Texas opponent, they played 10 minutes of free basketball. After a day off from practice to recover from that tough win over the Mavericks, the Celtics hope for a much shorter, much easier victory over the Rockets.
Houston is led by James Harden, who came over from Oklahoma City in a late preseason trade and has become unquestionably...

James Harden has already proven that he is capable of success outside of Oklahoma City. Before he was traded to the Houston Rockets, there were worries that Harden was just a product of a system, playing opposite two of the best players in the game and he would flounder if he had to carry a team.
The Rockets are not blowing away the competition by any means, but at just...
