Exactly, what motivates a player from the Association, to leave everything out on the floor for at least 82 games in the regular season and far more if their team advances deep into the Post Season? If you posed that question to ten different NBA players, most likely you would receive ten different responses in return. Some of those players, may not have given you their real answer; ashamed to admit it is fame and fortune that is their driving force. There are others who have such a love for the game; they don’t fully feel alive unless they are on the hardwood.
Over the years, we have witnessed men who have dedicated their career to someone special that they had lost; sometimes family or a very close friend. While some pushed by the desire to show his parents; that the faith they placed in him paid off. Some enter the Association, vowing to themselves that they will not be satisfied until they win an NBA Finals series. Still others get a buzz from winning, that they can not replicat...

These were the days when we were still a pre-christmas juggernaut. Great statline from Rondo, and a fun memory to look back upon.

Still looking affected by his hip injury, Rondo was unable to penetrate as well as he normally would. Played great help defense, but with Bradley off the floor he was unable to keep up with Conley's speed due to his hip. Jumper was completely off today, and made...
Rajon Rondo wishes the Celtics had more ‘sore losers’ on their roster
The Boston Celtics came away with a much-needed victory over the Indiana Pacers on Friday night, snapping a four-game losing streak. Boston improved its record to 15-17, but has still lost eight out of its last 11 games. The return of Avery Bradley should help the Celtics get back on track — particularly on defense — but they need to improve on both sides of the ball. According...
Bradley set to return, Rondo questionable for Celtics
Rajon Rondo might not be ready to return to action for the Boston Celtics on Wednesday, but fellow guard Avery Bradley expects to play for the first time this season. Bradley underwent offseason surgery on both shoulders. Rondo bruised his right hip Thursday, didn't play Saturday, then struggled through 36 minutes Sunday, scoring two points. "I'm excited, the team...
The Best of Tommy - Pacers 1/4
Tommy is such a treasure. The man has been a Celtic for over 50 years. He loves the Celtics and I love that about him. Other teams' fans may bemoan the fact that they get the Celtics feed, but I hate listening to anyone else. Tommy started out with this gem:
On Rondo's importance to the Celtics "He has to be, in an essence, the rabbit for the greyhounds.Let'...
Rajon Rondo, Avery Bradley Lead Rousing Win Over Pacers That Leaves Celtics Still Grasping for Consistency
BOSTON — The Celtics started Friday’s game like every other since their post-Christmas hangover began. They missed makeable shots, fired up 3-pointers early in the shot clock and looked all-around lost on offense.
A funny thing happened when they looked up at the scoreboard at the end of the first quarter, though. Despite shooting 29 percent from the field and committing as many...

Kevin Garnett: KG bounced back from a slightly poor game by dominating an overmatched Pacers frontcourt. He put up a typical 36-year old Garnett statline: 18 points on 50% shooting, with 7 rebounds and excellent defense. You cannot ask for much more. Also he set the tone physically, and...

Celtics Tweets of Interest: Avery Bradley Returns to Court; Rajon Rondo Hopes for Better Year
The Boston Celtics lost three straight games after beating the Brooklyn Nets on Christmas Day. All three losses came on the West Coast and they were all by double digits. The Los Angeles Clippers, Golden State Warriors, and Sacramento Kings easily handled the Celtics. Donald, 17, is this week’s featured fan. He lives in Colombia and has been a Celtics fan for most of his young life. Some of you may know him from his Twitter account, @boceltics18.
As is the case with most Celtics fans who are not in North America, Donald must depend on the internet to get his daily dose of Celtics. That has not deterred him however from following the team he...

The Celtics, the frustrating Boston Celtics, finally won a game last night when they blew out the Pacers, 94-75.
