The Celtics came out of the gates slowly, but it isn't how you start. It's how you finish. And the Celtics finished strong, knocking off the Cavs 95-89. The good thing about this game, outside of the win, is that there's one less game in which I have to watch LeBron James, Side Show Bob, and Humpty Dumpty play. Hooray for me. KG came through unscathed, though he did take a couple of punishing blows from the blob known as Shaq. 'Sheed looked good out there, immediately making an impact by knocking down a three and collecting a rebound in his first couple of minutes. Marquis looked good as well, showing is ability to finish around the rim. Ray Allen was already in post-season form, shooting 5-26 from the floor. Kendrick Perkins has a nice little mid-range jump shot that he seems very comfortable taking. Shelden Williams looked like he had been with the team for months, rather than weeks. Rondo was Rondo - brilliant as he was frustrating. And Pierce was Pierce, coming through in the clutch yet again in the 4th quarter. Game 2 is tomorrow night at the Garden.
