8 a.m. ET: The Golden State Warriors have not exactly had a marquee rivalry with the Celtics in recent years, and the matchup could be just as lopsided this time — only the lopsidedness could go in a different direction.
The Warriors (19-10), led by a potential future All-Star backcourt of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, host the Celtics (14-14), who come to Oakland searching for answers. The Celtics were embarrassed in by the Los Angeles Clippers, putting up a season-low 77 points on Thursday while suffering their fifth loss in seven games. The Warriors, by contrast, had won four of six entering their game against Philadelphia late Friday night.
Curry and Thompson are not the only Warriors who bear watching. Veterans David Lee and Carl Landry have provided steady production on the offensive end, and the team’s overall attitude has been improved by the hard-nosed approach of veteran guard Jarrett Jack. In fact, the Warriors have the type of attitude the Celtics themselves would lik...

“Rondo’s point: Cause for concern” via Steve Bulpett
A war cry for a lot of fans this year has been: “It’s only ____we all know that the Celtics never start playing well until April“. Well, Rajon Rondo...

All you Rajon Rondo fans are in for a treat. As far as the other 99% of NBA fans just bear with me.
Artist and basketball fan Davide Zomer from Trento, Italy created a self-initiated mock logo design for Rondo aka the engine that runs the Boston Celtics. You might want to check it out if you like this sort of stuff…

Jason Terry and Courtney Lee will be the only guards active on the Celtics roster tonight with both Rondo and Barbosa out. Too bad the C's didn't bring Avery Bradley along on this trip. Could of used him tonight. Expect to see Paul Pierce and Jeff...

Wow. What is there to say? The Kings outplayed the Celtics the whole game, except for the second quarter which the Celtics won 31-30. The defense did not show up, allowing the Kings to shoot 53.7% from the field and 50% from 3. DeMarcus Cousins got his first triple-double. Jason Thompson, Isiah Thomas, and John Salmons scored over 20 points for the...
8 a.m. ET: A horrendous road trip can end on an up note if the Celtics pull off the very achievable goal of beating the Sacramento Kings on Sunday night. Well, normally that goal would be achievable. Even in their current state, the Celtics (14-15) would figure to have an easy time dismissing the Kings (10-19). Nothing is certain with the Celtics at the moment, though.

Some players’ jump shots in the NBA are so ugly, they bring two things to mind. One: how does their shot ever go in? Two: how have they not learned to shoot? Of the players on the Ugliest Jump Shot Team, only one is a decent shooter, despite the fact that he uses more elbow on his jumper then Metta World Peace does on James Harden.
PG: Rajon Rondo
In all my years of watching the National Basketball Association, I've seen players have lapses of judgment on defense but I've never seen an entire team fall asleep.During Thursday night's Celtics/Clippers game, a loose ball foul called on the Clippers started the below mayhem.Watch as the Clippers defense falls asleep and Rajon Rondo finds Kevin Garnett for the easy dunk:
After an uninspiring showing without Rajon Rondo, the Boston Celtics hope to have their point guard back for the finale of a four-game trip.
Rondo is expected to be a game-time decision Sunday night when the Celtics face a Sacramento Kings team that may have Tyreke Evans back in the starting lineup for the first time in two weeks.
Rondo was a late scratch for Saturday's game...

I'd say most people probably have Rajon Rondo and Kevin Garnett on their ballots, but I'm not sure the other three have came up in reports of being high in the voting. Honestly, Paul Pierce deserves to be up there. Either way, this is an awesome...
Stephen Curry had 22 points and nine assists, David Lee scored 20 points and the Golden State Warriors whipped the short-handed Boston Celtics 101-83 on Saturday night to close a memorable month.
First-round pick Harrison Barnes added 15 points and eight rebounds to help the Warriors build a 20-point lead in the second quarter and cruise most of the way. Golden State (21-10) finished...

Disappointing, disgrace, upsetting. That is exactly how I felt going to my first Boston Celtics' game last night. I was really excited to go, and when I first bought the ticket in October, I thought it would be a guaranteed win, but I was totally wrong. I first met Paul Pierce in 2002, giving away signed autographs of his game "NBA Inside...
