Charles Barkley and Shaquille O'Neal have never had a problem expressing their feelings when it comes to anything happening in the NBA. On Tuesday, the two TNT analysts made no exceptions for the Los Angeles Lakers as they ripped them for their Princeton-style offense in a conference call with reporters. "I've always said I want my accountants from Princeton, not my offense," said Barkley via the LA Times. O'Neal added, saying: "If they're going to switch offenses, they should go back to the triangle." The Lakers are 0-6 in the preseason, but have played most games without center Dwight Howard and Jordan Hill, who practiced Wednesday for the first time since injuring his back two weeks ago. Barkley did acknowledge that the Lakers are one of the best things ever for the NBA. "The Lakers and the Celtics are the two biggest things that have ever happened to the NBA," he said. "The Lakers and Celtics are money-making gold mines. [The Lakers] are in the conversation for the next five years with a legitimate chance to win the championship. There are only a couple teams who can say that. The Lakers are just amazing to me." Barkley also offered a plan for the Lakers to beat the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals. "The only way to beat them is to beat them up physically. LeBron James is great but he can't stop Pau Gasol and Dwight Howard."

Los Angeles Lakers center Dwight Howard is notably religious. So religious that he's claimed to have never been drunk before in his life.
ALL SYSTEMS GO
Dwight Howard has reportedly been cleared for game action and will make his Lakers debut against the Kings on Sunday night.
Kobe Bryant, arguably the best player in the NBA, will not play again in the preseason. But that's not the worst part of the news about the Los Angeles Lakers guard's foot strain. The perennial All-Star could miss the Lakers' season opener against the Dallas Mavericks.According to Ramona Shelburne and Dave McMenamin of ESPN Los Angeles, Bryant spent most of yesterday...
Los Angeles Laker Dwight Howard (I hate the way that sounds!) swears he wasn’t drunk when he was putting us through all that trade drama last season.
I don’t know if it’s true or false that Dwight Howard had never tasted alcohol before he was traded from the Orlando Magic to the Los Angeles Lakers but I do know that’s what he claimed according to Lee Jenkins at Sports Illustrated...
So Dwight Howard thinks he got robbed with the Defensive Player of The Year votes.
Shortchanged on the votes? Maybe.
Settle down youngster, Chandler deserved that one.
“I thought I should have won it last year, to be honest with you…I was a little bit upset about that….I felt like I did my job to win it. I also feel like I didn’t because of the whole situation...
Center Dwight Howard is expected to make his Los Angeles Lakers debut in Sunday night's exhibition game against the Sacramento Kings at Staples Center, ESPNLosAngeles reported. Howard got through the Lakers' Sunday morning shootaround without any setbacks. Officially, Howard's status is listed as a game-time decision, and Lakers coach Mike Brown said the final decision...
After having surgery for a herniated disk six months ago, Dwight Howard made his preseason and Lakers debut Sunday night against the Sacramento Kings.Howard’s first career bucket as a member of the Lakers was this alley-oop from Pau Gasol. This is the first of many similar alley-oop play like these from Los Angeles’ two big men.
Every October, while you are trying to figure out a quirky name for you fantasy football team (the name of my historically bad team is "Ochostinko"), NBA GM's are filling out their annual survey. And very often, these surveys follow the lines of conventional thought. Which makes me wonder if (a) these GMs are actually filling these things out or (b) they are just putting...
Because the Los Angeles Lakers going 0-7 this preseason is not painful enough, here is a real reason for mild concern heading into the season opener against the Dallas Mavericks: Kobe Bryant is on the shelf.
Laker fans may not be putting a lot of stake into a winless preseason schedule that has seen their superstar starters only play one game together and the bench be an abysmal...
Pop quiz: What do you get when take the games best center and turn him into a bunch of role players?
If you guessed the Orlando Magic -- congratulations. You win a trip to Disney World!
Not really, but if you do happen to visit Orlando anytime soon, Mickey Mouse is probably your best option. Dwight Howard is gone.
Not that the Magic were exactly world-beaters with Howard. But...
I'm not one to ever put stock into the pre-season for any reason. There are lots of variables. Like, a player playing his first game with a team (a la Dwight Howard with the Lakers), and thus what does it mean? Usually nothing. Tonight had an interesting wrinkle: The Lakers played their starters down the stretch, and the Kings played all of their reserves and DeMarcus Cousins...
