TEAMS:
Charlotte Bobcats
This amusing video from earlier this week shows Bobcats reporter Stephanie Ready trying to file a report about shopping on the Charlotte Bobcats website. Watch as she becomes slightly annoyed when the cameraperson is supposed to zoom in on that lovely Bobcats sweatshirt and leaves her awkwardly looking to and fro. Ready isn't just known the Charlotte Bobcats sideline reporter, she was the first woman to coach a professional sports team, the NBDL's Greenville Groove. Maybe it's a good thing she's moved into the media, because coaching the Bobcats would be a clear step down. (Tip of the hat to John Morris)

Near the conclusion of the Bobcats’ 110-88 blowout loss to the Denver Nuggets, Charlotte big man Byron Mullens got his feet tangled with other players’ and took a hard fall. An X-ray to detect a fracture was negative, but Mullens appears to have a severe sprain of his left ankle.

Bobcats Injured and Insulted, Not Necessarily in That Order
The first recorded English use of the phrase “adding insult to injury” was in 1748, or shortly after the Charlotte Bobcats last won a game. I feel like the phrase works well for action movies; for example, Arnold Schwarzenegger beats a terrorist into submission (the injury) and then says, “you’re fired,” before launching the terrorist [...]
Video: Michael Kidd-Gilchrist hammers down tomahawk jam
Denver Nuggets big man Kosta Koufos was posterized by Charlotte Bobcats rookie Michael Kidd-Gilchrist on Saturday. Watch as Kidd-Gilchrist drives the lane and hammers down a one-handed dunk with authority at the expense of Koufos' pride.Koufos would redeem himself, however, as the Nuggets went on to roll 110-88 thanks in large part to a season-high 16 points from the 23-year old.
