PLAYERS: LeBron James
TEAMS: Miami Heat
"Hey guys, let's make a pack to stay best friends forever."This is a few days (and years, if you’re a stickler for details) old, but the folks over at LeBronJames.com posted some scanned images of LeBron James’ stat sheets from his high school seasons, and without a single ounce of shock in the entire world, they reveal that he was a man among boys. The self-anointed King and four-time NBA MVP averaged 18.1 points per game in his freshman season at St. Vincent-St. Mary, and it only got better from there, as he averaged 30.4 ppg by his senior season.James also recently took a break from steamrolling the NBA Playoffs to donate $1 million to his old high school to renovate the gym that helped make him a household name when he wasn’t even old enough to vote. Hopefully, some of that money includes a giant throne for when he returns to view games. It should have a glass case around it like the Popemobile for good measure, since some people in Ohio are still emotionally unsur...

LeBron to Vogel: Not just next team

After advancing to the conference semis, Frank Vogel referred to the Heat as the next team in their championship run, a comment LeBron James took umbrage with.

47 Rare Photos Of Lebron James In High School

That white boy looks terrified.  If you don't think that he has this once in a lifetime photograph of being blown by on the basketball by the King himself, you might want to consider therapy.  If I was the bro looking like I just pooped my pants as Lebron dribbled passed me, I'd have this on a mantle over the fireplace. Anyways, here are 46 other great photos of Lebron...

LeBron and CP3 Mentor a Young James Harden & Steph Curry in 2008 (Video)

There’s a reason why LeBron James and Chris Paul are the best players at their respective positions, and that’s because they work relentlessly at their craft. Back in 2008, James and Paul held a summer camp before the Beijing Olympics, and a college stars like Steph Curry and a significantly less hairy James Harden were amongst those invited. In the recently released video...

LeBron James & Dwyane Wade chill at the beach

While the Miami Heat were waiting to see who they’d be competing against in the Eastern Conference finals, Dwyane Wade and LeBron James hit up the beach with their family and friends. The Heat will have had almost a week off when they face off against the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday. In the meantime, check out King James and WOW – yeah, I’m still not rolling with the “Way...

Heat vs Pacers: Eastern Conference Finals Preview

Will LeBron James and the Heat drive by Paul George and the Pacers? (Credit) The Miami Heat have LeBron James — the best basketball player in the world, the league’s most valuable player for two years in a row and four out of five, and one of the all-time greatest to ever play the game. Along with James, Miami has his best friend: Dwyane Wade — the Finals MVP in 2006, two...

LeBron James & Dwyane Wade Have A Beach Day

As they await the Indiana Pacers arrival to Miami for Wednesday’s Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals, LeBron James and Dwyane Wade took full advantage of their down time at the beach this weekend.

Frank Vogel Didn’t Refer To Miami As “Just Another Team”

LeBron James created the non-storiest of non-stories Sunday, when he responded to Indiana Pacers head coach Frank Vogel referring to the Miami Heat as “just another team”. Unfortunately for LeBron, that’s not what Vogel said at all. He referred to the Heat as “just the next team” — a less dismissive comment, and one that also happens to be 100% accurate as the Heat are...

Heat can be beat and LeBron knows it

LeBron James' overreaction to the media-ginned "just another team" controversy strikes me as Miami Heat vulnerability. Dan Le Batard's whining about the New York Knicks losing in the Eastern Conference semifinals strikes me as Miami Heat vulnerability. Dwyane Wade's sore knee strikes me as Miami Heat vulnerability. So does the sloppy, referee-assisted way...

Pacers, Heat start bracing to square off again

A year ago when Miami and Indiana faced off in the postseason, there were blood-drawing hits, flagrant fouls, technical fouls, choke signs being directed toward LeBron James and more than a few sharp-tongued comments. Here they possibly go again, at least on the comment front. The Eastern Conference finals between the Heat and Pacers won't begin until Wednesday night, but there...

The NBA needs the Pacers to push the Heat

Everyone in the NBA is way too friendly. Opponents used to hate one another. When was the last time we saw ourselves a nice quality heated rivalry? The Pistons and Pacers looked to be on their way to one in 2004 when Ben Wallace shoved Ron Artest, but that was avoided when Artest and Stephen Jackson charged the stands instead. We probably would have to go back to the old Knicks and...
