Season Highlight: Rip Hamilton scored 18 of his 20 points in the third quarter against the Knicks at the United Center April 10th. It was the second game of a home-and-home against New York and the Bulls had lost the first game in OT at MSG. Derrick Rose sprained his ankle and could not play, so it was Rip Hamilton who put in his most meaningful 21 minutes of the 28 games he played this season. He also had 5 assists and 4 rebounds in a game where he didn’t even see action in the 4th quarter (it was his 4th game back from a shoulder injury). The Bulls won 98-86. Nearing the end of the season, Bulls fans were finally seeing what they had hoped to witness all season, a healthy Rip Hamilton.
