Over the past decade, Chris "Birdman" Andersen has been one of the more complicated figures in the NBA. After dealing with serious drug problems, the athletic big man has turned his life around without losing his borderline-crazy personality. He's a lot of fun to watch.
He also has the sorts of life goals we don't normally associate with NBA players. At a launch party last night for Converse, Andersen spoke with SLAM Online's Abe Schwadron about what he's been up to during the lockout:
SLAM: A lot of NBA guys have been playing in streetball games this summer. Not you. Why? What have you been up to instead?
CA: I'm actually from the woods down in Texas. I've been training and whatnot about basketball, but also I'm trying to start a hunting show right now. So I'm out in the woods with Converse.
SLAM: A hunting show?
