Yep, I am the real cause of the big trade that finally went down last night. It was only yesterday that I said Paul was not going anywhere, so of course, then it happened.

The Clippers have agreed take Chris Paul from the New Orleans Hornets in a blockbuster deal that includes sending Eric Gordon to the Hornets.

The Clippers will send the Hornets Chris Kaman and his expiring $12.7-million expiring contract, second-year forward Al-Farouq Aminu and the unprotected No. 1 draft pick the Clippers got from the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Clippers will get Paul and two future second-round draft picks from the Hornets.

The K-Man is heading off to New Orleans! Ah who cares. This deal is all about Paul ending up on a team on the rise.

Can you imagine Blake Griffen with an actual point guard. The short time that he was with Baron Davis was exciting as hell.

So the real question now becomes, how does this all implode for the Clippers? They are not exactly known for having good luck.

If all goes well, they have the makings of being a 4 seed in the West. If it all goes wrong, well they will be right back to where they are used to.

Sad to see Paul leave New Orleans but it had to happen.
