Los Angeles Clippers point guard Chris Paul broke out an epic flop for the ages during his team’s game against the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday night in the epically named Sleep Train Arena. I mean CP3′s flop was as bad as what happened to Ishtar (look it up). And with much, much worse acting. It could be argued that Paul’s abysmal display wasn’t technically a flop since he didn’t go to the floor. But just seeing how he bounces off Kings big man DeMarcus Cousins after barely incidental contact between the two as they made their way down the court during the third quarter of the game is a sad display. And the sheer absurdity of the demonstration of everything that is wrong with hackneyed flopping epidemic that pervades the NBA merits its inclusion in the pantheon of embarrassing flops and probably should warrant a fine from the league. Ha. Nice face, CP3. Did he bump into Cousins or the victim of an in-arena sniper attack? Is Cousins some kind of super-charged comic book villain able to send 10,00 volts of electricity through his helpless victims? Sad. Perhaps as some modicum of karmic revenge for his behavior, CP3′s Clippers squad fell to the Kings by a score of 116-101, the first time the Clippers have lost to their in-state rivals in more than two years. That should learn him. [H/T reddit via LBS] TweetThe post Chris Paul flopped like an epileptic crappie during Tuesday’s game (video) appeared first on Sportress of Blogitude.
