Andrew Bynum was an All-Star center for the Los Angeles Lakers during the 2011-2012 season. He missed all last season with knee injuries and has struggled to get a lot of time on the court this season with the Cleveland Cavaliers.  Bynum will now miss at least the next two games due to personal matters. As reported by Mary Schmitt Boyer at cleveland.com, Cavaliers’ center Andrew Bynum has been excused from the team until Saturday in order to attend to a personal, family matter. He will miss games at Minnesota tonight and against Charlotte on Friday.  His expected return on Saturday against the Wizards in Washington could likely be his return to the starting lineup. If Bynum can give quality minutes as a starter, current starter Anderson Varejao will move to back up.  Bynum most likely will not be able to play 30 to 35 minutes a game expected out of a starter, so Varejao, who is averaging 8.9 points and 6.9 rebounds per game, should still get plenty of minutes.
