For the second time in three season, the Cleveland Cavaliers will select #1 in the NBA Draft.  Cleveland had a 15.6% chance of winning the lottery and did so, beating out the Orland Magic who had a 25% chance, and ended up with the second pick.  The Washington Wizards had just a 3.5% chance and ended up with the third pick. The NBA Draft is always fun to mess around with especially when a team moves up like the Washington Wizards did! This year the draft is loaded with big guys, kind of like the NFL draft, while sprinkling in some very talented guards and forwards. The following draft selections are based on team needs. Let us know if you feel a team has different needs and who you would draft instead! With the first pick, in the 2013 NBA Draft, the Cleveland Cavaliers select:Cleveland Cavaliers Otto PorterThe Eastern Conference bottom 4 playoff spots are up for grabs in the 2013-14 season and the Cavaliers need to select a player that can help immediately.  Nerlens Noel is the obvious con census pick, but Porter fills a bigger need.  Anderson Varejao will return and play the majority of the minutes at the center position.  Alonzo Gee is more of a bench player.Orlando Magic Trey Burke Jameer Nelson is not going to be around much longer and he would be a great mentor for Trey Burke.  Nelson will most likely be traded to a contender at some point. Washington WizardsNerlens NoelWe saw the ugly rotation of guards that played and even started while John Wall was nursing his injury, but it is too early to add any of the remaining point/combo guards.  With Noel they can take the time to let him heal and get 100% healthy, before figuring out what to do with either Emeka Okafor, whose contract is expiring.  The Wizards will still be competitive even without their 1st round draft pick playing until after the new year.I really want them to add Victor Oladipo but I don't see it happening.Charlotte Bobcats Anthony BennettThe Bobcats have no big who can score in the paint and they do not have the reliable jump shooters to win from the outside.Phoenix Suns Ben McLemore The Suns are a long way away from competing and do not have a go to scorer.  They thought they did in Michael Beasley but that failed.  Shannon Brown was sent to the doghouse and McLemore can play right away.New Orleans Pelicans Victor OladipoGreivis Vasquez turned into a top 10 pg last season and Eric Gordon finished the season healthy.  When Gordon and Ryan Anderson are on the bench, the Pelicans have limited scoring options.  Adding Oladipo would help.Sacramento Kings Shabazz Muhhamed The Kings do not have a true SF on the roster that is worth giving playing time and no future prospect there.Detroit Pistons Alex LenOutside of Greg Monroe and Andre Drummond the Pistons are limited.  Len would be a perfect addition to Monroe and Drummond and create one heckuva rotation.Minnesota Timberwolves Rudy GobertWith Kevin Love's injury history and the fact that Greg Stiesma and Dante Cunningham started a whole bunch of games for the T'Wolves, Cody Zeller would be a nice fit on this Wolves club that is under new management.  With no ties to any current players, this organization is in for a big time make over.Portland Trail Blazers (Bobcats if outside Top 12) Cody ZellerPortland needs to add depth to their front court, especially if they fail to retain J.J. Hickson.Philadephia 76ers Gorgui Dieng Dieng could start right away for the 76ers who better not even think about re-signing Andrew Bynum.Oklahoma City ThunderKelly OlynykThe James Harden trade looks terrible at the moment with Russell Westbrook injured, but this draft pick had to be a key reason for the making the deal.  If Kevin Martin doesn't want to sign on as a bench player, reaching for Archie Goodwin is an option, who could take Jeremy Lamb's bench warmer role and Lamb could provide the spark off the bench for the Thunder.  But the Thunder will most likely add a player who can contribute right away and adding a scorer down low should help them get passed the second round next season.Dallas Mavericks Michael Carter-Williams With the possibility of Darren Collison signing elsewhere, the Mavericks will have to start fresh at the PG position.  Could they draft German PG Dennis Schroeder and pair him up with Dirk Nowitzki?  Who knows but a PG is a huge need that won't be filled via free agency.Utah Jazz Dennis SchroederThe Jazz will most likely lose Mo Williams this off season so they will need to find their future PG in the draft.  Schroeder has a promise in the middle of the first round.  Could it be from the Jazz?
