Blake Griffin had 26 points and 13 rebounds for the Clippers. Jamal Crawford added 24 points off the bench. Curry stayed mostly silent for three quarters in his second game back from an ankle injury but gave the Warriors a much-needed spark in the fourth after the Clippers had taken an 82-75 lead. Let’s take another look at Stephen Curry’s amazing pass to Jarrett Jack, shall we? (Video)

Stephen Curry, with two games remaining until all-star reserves are named on Thursday, made his intentions of being included on the West squad loud and clear in the Warriors’ 106-99 win over the Clippers on Monday. Curry led the Dubs with 28 points as they got their third win over a team tied for the best record in the league coming into the game. He also added six assists, perhaps...

Stephen Curry Pass of the Year to Jarrett Jack (Video)

The Golden State Warriors have surprised me a little bit this year.  They upset the Clippers last night and moved to 25-15, which is currently the 5th spot in the Western Conference.  Stephen Curry is averaging 20 points a game and almost 7 assists.  None of his assists were close to as good as the one he had last night though.  The announcer even gives him a Magic Johnson comparison...

Warriors' Curry to start after missing 2 games

APNewsNow. Stephen Curry is starting for the Golden State Warriors against the Hornets on Saturday night after missing the last two games with a right ankle injury. Curry, who averages a team-high 20.5 points, landed on teammate Festus Ezeli's foot during Wednesday's shootaround before the Warriors played Miami. Without him, they scored a season-low 75 points against the...

Good news, bad news for the Golden State Warriors. Stephen Curry will play against the New Orleans Hornets Saturday night. The bad news: David Lee will sit out with an ankle injury, according to Warriors beat writer Rusty Simmons. Hopefully, Curry isn't rushing back. David Lee expects to play Monday; Stephen Curry's ankle not 100 percent

David Lee's ankle was "purple" and "popped and cracked like Bubble Wrap" after the Warriors' win Saturday over the New Orleans Hornets, the SF Gate reported. That doesn't sound like a guy who should be playing basketball Monday against the Los Angeles Clippers, but Lee has other plans: "You know I'm not missing that game." So...

Warriors end skid with win over host Hornets

NEW ORLEANS -- Jarrett Jack walked into New Orleans Arena on Saturday night with James Brown in his ear and memories from a place he once called home. He departed after having played a major role in helping defeat his former team and earning some payback, as prescribed by Brown. Jack scored seven of Golden State's final nine points in a 116-112 victory over the New Orleans...

Klay Thompson had a season-high 29 points, Jarrett Jack scored seven of his 25 in the final minute and the Golden State Warriors beat the New Orleans Hornets 116-112 on Saturday night. Warriors notch third victory over Clippers

OAKLAND, Calif. - Both teams had almost the same reaction to the Golden State Warriors' 106-99 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday afternoon: No big deal. But given the circumstances, that was hard to believe. The Warriors used a late 9-0 run to complete a fourth-quarter comeback en route to their third victory of the season over the Clippers and a 3-1 season...

Thunder-Warriors Preview

Kevin Durant's status as the NBA's leading scorer isn't much of a surprise, but he's been particularly impressive during the Oklahoma City's recent success on the road. Stephen Curry's impressive shooting has the Golden State Warriors regaining momentum. Durant and the NBA-best Thunder go for an eighth win in nine tries Wednesday night, when they attempt...

For young Jackets, the time to mature is now

Georges-Hunt is averaging 10.7 points and 4.3 boards per game for the Ramblin’ Wreck.  (Credit: Georgia Tech Athletics/Brian Savage) I spent most of Monday watching Barack Obama’s second presidential inauguration.  Four years can be a long time.  Just look at those gray hairs.            As is my habit, my thoughts eventually turned to ACC basketball.  I realized...
