The Clippers have signed shooting guard Nate Darling and forward Malik Fitts, the team announced, via ESPN’s Ohm Youngmisuk.
In the process, the Clippers waived Michael Devoe, Juwan Morgan and Lucas Williamson.
Darling, 24, is 6-foot-5 and went undrafted out of Delaware in 2020, signing a two-way contract with the Hornets as a rookie. He has spent time with the Greensboro Swarm and Ontario Clippers of the G League.
Fitts, 25, is 6-5 and also went undrafted in 2020 (out of Saint Mary’s). he too has spent time in the G League, most recently with the Celtics. In the NBA, he has played for the Celtics, Jazz and Clippers via a series of two-way and 10-day deals.
Both Darling and Fitts likely received training camp contracts and are likely headed back to the G League, at least for a portion of the season.
