PLAYA VISTA, Calif. Guard Travis Leslie had an abbreviated rookie season with the Clippers in 2011-12. His second season with the team was even shorter. The Clippers waived Leslie on Tuesday, putting their roster at 14 players on the eve of their regular-season opener against the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday night. Leslie, 22, was a second-round draft pick out of Georgia last year but was limited to just 10 games. He played in just four exhibition games this preseason, averaging 3.0 points and 1.8 rebounds.

2012 Fantasy Basketball: Top 5 Point Guards

Now on to the short men, my love for the point guard started when I found out Muggsy Bogues was shorter than my dad (by 3 inches, but every inch counts.) I consider point guards to be the second most important player on my daily fantasy teams, what they don’t get in points they make up for in assists and steals. Another thing that draws me to the point guard is the amount of minutes...

Thoughts from an Educated Clippers Fan

As a Clipper fan I take great pride in the fact that my once small market Clippers are finally capable of competing with the large market teams in the league, such as the Lakers and Heat. For the past three seasons the Clippers have been slowly and methodically building a roster with the potential to make a deep playoff run. The motto is simple: we have our superstars (Paul &...
