Celtics Green ...a boston celtics blog.:
The usual complaints about the refs. Interesting that they still have the Celtics are old thing going there. I guess they haven't looked at the Celtics roster lately. For some reason the gif and exchange at the end really cracked me up. Enjoy today's comments....
Boston is old, old old. We have young legs to run.
If we can get out and run like pretty much everyone has on Boston this season, we'll have our chances.
Here's to hoping that Tobias can smother Pierce again and that Jennings and Garnett go at it.
Here's hoping the young guns continue to improve and we can build some early season confidence with a two game sweep of the lowly Celtics and their punk Extraordinaire KG.
Can Jennings outplay Rondo two games straight? It seems a stretch, but that would be oh so sweet.
Boston is struggling right now, it would be very nice to kick them while they are down.
We have no chance of winning unless we neutralize Jeff Green.
Neutralize Jeff Green? As it is he's a net negative!! Why would we want to help the Celtics?!?
Expect at least 5 Jennings shrugs and 6 Garnett pouty faces
Paul Pierce played Tobias perfectly, then KG goaltended for no reason. Haha
That would be 1 of the 6 pouty faces for garnett
He may pout out in the first half
Boston has to really mug someone to have a foul called against them.
Dalembert trying to guard KG is not going to end well for us.
KG can not defend Dalley..
Monta getting destroyed by Terry.
Wow. Celtics defense non existent.
Just want to see Prz vs KG tonight - Prz might be the only guy that KG wont talk **** to
I love watching Daniels on D Absolute aggression in perfect form… Wouldn’t dare let someone get by him if he can do anything about it
If you put a #20 on Barbosa, you'd think it was Ray Allen.
Until he shot
Celtics bringing out the best in the Bucks this year…
Yeah the lack of height on the Celtics helps
Rondo has become a decent jump shooter.
Boston is gifting us this game in everyway
We should be up by 12, Celtics look awful.
There's a hilarious irony to Garnett ******** about a moving screen.
I hope he's hurt just enough to sit the rest of the way. And be fine by tomorrow.
I'm gonna be bummed if we lose this game, Boston looks horrible.
Small ball..means abused on the boards
So we get called for fouls but on the other end its different ? Ok then.
Old man, fat Paul Pierce drives by our guys with ease.
I don't think I have ever heard someone call Pierce fat lol
Rondo just going through the motions, showing terrible effort often.
Beno can't stay in front of Rondo.
Watching Beno out there makes me realize how good defense Brandon has played on Rondo.
That Jeff Green contract is so awesome.
This has been a disgusting game to watch. Looks like a battle of the 9th seeds.
Green is unstoppable.
Jeff Green killing Ersan. I'm at a loss for words at how bad Ersan has been so far this season.
How many times does ****ing Jeff Green have to drink Ersan's milkshake before Skiles benches him?
No one can defend a Green pump fake.
Awesome block by Green
Jeff Green has some moves
Pierce is killing us.
Totally winnable and they managed to somehow play worse than Boston
I freaking hate Boston! They can play like crap the whole start of the season and still start out 3-3. It helps to have the 2 or 3 extra good calls in your pocket.
Should have subbed Ersan when it became clear that Jeff Green was going to take his lunch money
Crap, stupid Celts are gangbusters in the 4th
They wouldn't have swallowed the whistle on Pierce or KG.
It was a foul but the no-call saved Ersan the embarrassment of choking on the free throws.
Damn smart fouls down the stretch by Boston
Refs are **** us over but we didn't deserve this one.
No calls against Boston cost the game. And they wonder why people in this city have bailed on the NBA. Inexcusable.
Of course the Celts get a favorable call For some stupid reason, Boston teams are golden children in all sports, Patriots, Red Sox, Celtics, Bruins, screw em all
Rondo just walks off the court What an a**…
Such a dumb game, we played awful. Boston is terrible too though, I hope their fans don't plan on their team contending this year. Ray knew when to leave.
Boston is bad. Outside of Pierce/Rondo/Garnett there isn't much there. No way they are title contenders. Not even close.
Boston will be all right. They always start slow as hell. Bass, green, and terry arent gonna hurt either. They may not win a title but their gonna be back in the thick of it in the spring. They know how to play and they have all sorts of gears.
Summary of game
What is that guy in the GIF even doing?
Waiting until the very end of the confrontation to turn his skills on Much like the Celts

Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them here… highlighting the big storyline. Because there’s nothing quite as satisfying as a good morning dump.
And nobody seemed to relish this fiesty, bad-boy side of Green more than Kevin Garnett.
“Jeff’s a really, really nice guy,” Garnett said. “Some nights, you just gotta be an asshole.”
And the turning point...
Imagine how you would feel if you returned to your locker room after (another) bad game, already pissed off, only to have a sea of reporters (most of whom will be writing bad things about you) shoving microphones into your face and asking to discuss how and why you’ve been not very good this year. The answer for Jeff Green is easy: Play better. But when he doesn’t play so well...
Celtics fans have been patiently awaiting the arrival of Jeff Green.
A potent scorer with the Oklahoma City Thunder, Green joined the Celtics in 2011 but missed all of last season with a heart ailment and has had trouble fitting into the flow of the Boston offense this season.
On Saturday night, though, he seemed to be doing better. As well as dropping in 12 points — eight of them...
Editor’s Note: Guest writer Eddy Delsignore is back with a terrific piece about Jeff Green and how he fits into the Celtics. Delsignore uses some inside information and strong insight to really evaluate who Green is on the basketball court and whether or not our expectations for him are too high.

MILWAUKEE - Sometimes a complex game like basketball can be so simple. A game that featured 17 lead changes and multiple momentum swings can be summed up pretty easily. "They made shots when it counted," Bucks guard Monta Ellis said. "It was a hard-fought game. They made more shots than we did and they came out with the (win)."Saturday'sgame was even at 74...

MILWAUKEE, Wis. -- It's been a rough start for the Boston Celtics. They came to Milwaukee on Saturday night looking to recover from a tough loss at home the night before to Philadelphia, and also to avenge a season-opening blowout, also at home, to the Bucks. And while it may not have been pretty, the Celtics' 96-92 victory could go a long way towards helping a team with...
There’s been lots of chatter (too much actually) on the early season struggles of Jeff Green. While it’s far too early to make any significant judgments, especially with such small sample sizes, it’s always good to at least take a look into certain patterns or issues. Green is not the only new(ish) member of the Celtics that has been off to a slow start. Jason Terry had...

The Celtics mantra has and always will be "we got to grind it out." they have no choice, given how their season is going. It all boils down to trust and learning how to play in a different way.
