Found January 17, 2013 on Celtics Green ...a boston celtics blog.:
The Celtics really lost focus last night and just played terribly.  I mean there's now excuse for a pro team to shoot 37% from the line.  That's lack of focus.  Maybe they all subconsciously were trying to make Austin look better because he's struggling so much and that was their gift to their coach.  Hopefully they get it together for Friday's game.   37% from the line is inexcusable, no matter what else is going on.  My favorites are in bold, what are yours?  Over under on how many times Austin's relation to Doc is brought up? 10. Over. Unless Austin's minutes are very miniscule. Actually no still over I hope Gordon doesn't play so Rivers can take his spot. It would be nice to see our team fair against Boston without Gordon You must want to see a loss if you want Gordon to sit in favor of Rivers. Bradley is a tough matchup for anyone. I don't think we really matchup too well with these guys. Bradley's defense has been overstated. Boston has just been playing real well as a team. They aren't really stopping guards from going off. People forget that Sullinger's emergence is also playing a big role in their success. He's not a defensive liability people thought he's going to be going into the draft. Rivers going for 30 against his Dad tonight 30% from the field might be pushing it... If Bradley is going to be on vazquez, we will get blown out with no Gordon How its possible that old guy like Pierce is getting so much easliy drives on us? I don't think Bradley has harrased any other PG to the level you see on display here. He'd be the greatest defendr in the history of the sport if he did. Avery Bradley= Darrel Revis of NBA I'll guarantee that this is the absolute worst matchup for Vasquez, and for a lot of other PGs in the league also. Please don't Let Bass look good on us guys. Ryno is not going to get anything open with garnett on him Nice of Coach Rivers Not to punk his son and select him for these FTs… No wonder Sullinger is always in foul trouble Two consecutive non-fouls called on him. Wow. I didn’t know the rookie treatment was that bad. I am surprised By the quality of his defense Showing much better foot speed and overall effort on defense than I ever saw at Ohio State. Smith just gave us the lead on that last dunk Boston really isn’t very good… Austin was flat mugged by Avery Idiotic Does Bradley know who he is guarding? The good news is Bos is one of those teams who always keep their opponents in the game til the end Our energy is whooping Celtic a** right now We don't have one favorable matchup against this team. Garnett on Anderson is just unfair. Please T up garnett and/or doc ASAP These moving screen calls are bull. Come on man! Especially against Garnett... The king of moving screens. Jason Collins? I forgot that dude existed. The first set of Stanford twins. Is it me or does Bass always plays angry against the hornets? *sigh* I hate saying this, but Rondo is unreal. He always manages to find someone with the ball no matter what situation he's in. Dirty foul by Garnett... Aminu just posted up Garnett. My mind has been BLOWN! We getting the calls baby! Way to play hard on defense HORNETS! Rivers broke Terry's ankles... Rivers has found his shooting touch so close to daddy. Anybody else notices that jerk of a Celtics fan trying to get the ref to call Lopez for 3 seconds in the lane? Lol Paul Pierce looks like he's moving at slow MO lol You know you're slow when Vasquez can stay with you lol So much for Avery Bradley's defense. Vasquez has adjusted. Celtics are giving us the game .......... We MUST take advantage as long as possible….. They aren’t going to stink like this all night Pierce doesn't look like he has his legs Celtics sucking it up in several quarters killed all chances for them to get a win Anthony Rivers. Davis and Austin love child. Please tell me why we have the ball in Austin rivers's hands right now. Just 5 men on the floor and only two guards. We can't hide him. If he's on the floor, he's gonna get the rock. I want to take Rivers' elbow and punch it in the mouth. Someone needs to do the eye clamps thing to him and make him terrified of shooting with that elbow out. Rivers is a good kid. His dad's a great coach too. Celtics play of the game was the Austin Rivers lay up. They really love the kid. That was fun. This is way more fun than tanking. Team defense Was exceptional tonight. They really controlled Rondo and Pierce. [Discuss on CG Forums!]
