#CelticsTalk: You can add recently-waived Ronny Turiaf to the growing list of players that's on the #Celtics radar.

Please no. This former Laker sucked when he was getting clowned in the 2008 finals by the Celtics. Now he's a shell of his limited former self. Plus he's always injured and he has a bad ticker. Let the Lakers sign him. We can do better (basically any big man in the D-League except for Mikki Moore).
BEST OF MAXIM
Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them here... highlighting the big storyline. Because there's nothing quite as satisfying as a good morning dump.
“It’ll be fun,” said coach Doc Rivers, perhaps speaking more in the hopeful than definitive sense. “We have a chance to catch Atlanta, have a chance to put room (between themselves and) Milwaukee and...
Early season first half woes have seemed come back. Struggling to score in the first half has led to awful results for Boston, as of late, as they lost another game tonight. This time the Denver Nuggets walked away with a 98-91 victory at the Pepsi Center.
Trying to play a different style of basketball never works. This is what happened in Sacramento and is continuing...
The past month has brought a dozen different non-updates on Jermaine O’Neal’s wrist injury, each of which has been more vague than the last. The latest non-update is slightly more detailed, as Danny Ainge points out that O’Neal is still rehabbing and deciding whether he can return this season. (Boston Herald)“Not yet,” Ainge said yesterday when asked if O’Neal’s situation...
Free agent Wilson Chandler signed a long-term contract with the Denver Nuggets on Sunday.
The deal, which is for the remainder of the season and the next four years, is worth an estimated $37 million, the Denver Post reported.
The 24-year-old Chandler played this past season in China. He averaged 12.5 points and 5.0 rebounds in 21 games with the Nuggets last season after being...
We have seem some great dunks this year, and buncha buzzer beaters, but none of them are as pretty to watch as this pass from Denver Nuggets forward Danilo Gallinari
We see behind the back passes all the time inside the paint, but rarely do we see one near the sideline that travels all the way back under the basket. It was pure precision, and is definitely the assist of the year...
Saturday evening provided yet another dip in the green machine roller coaster. The Boston Celtics have lost their second straight game, after winning 8 of 10, following the all-star break. The long and athletic Denver Nuggets put the pressure on the Celtics early and often. Apparently, the high altitude of Denver did not help the [...]
I often wonder what opposing teams, their beat reporters and bloggers are saying about the Celtics after playing the Celtics. Here's a dose of 'enemy chatter' from Sacramento.
Thornton was absolutely scorching. So many of his baskets came on catch-and-shoot opportunities where the ball was barely in his hands. But as soon as he let go, you felt like it was money.
Forward JJ Hickson gets buyout from Kings, source tells Yahoo!— Marc J. Spears (@SpearsNBAYahoo) March 19, 2012
Hickson and the Celtics have been linked before so don't be surprised if Boston signs him to add some depth to their front court. However, he has missed games with some back spasms with no certain timetable for a return.
Thanks to JayCeltic9 in the shoutbox for the find.
The trade deadline has passed, but another big transaction deadline is coming up this week. That's the deadline to sign players and have them be eligible to make a postseason roster. The Spurs have reportedly found their back up point guard, but still have room for at least one more player (two if they don't sign Eric Dawson for the rest of the season). In the last...
Guess who’s back?!?!?!?! Wilson Chandler has re-signed with the Denver Nuggets. Chandler has agreed to sign a long-term deal with the Nuggets, his agent told The Denver Post, after missing the season thus far after playing professionally in China. The small forward, who averaged 12.5 points last season for the Nuggets, has been in Denver [...]

Boston Celtics center Jermaine O'Neal will undergo season-ending surgery on his left wrist.
O'Neal has missed 13 games with a sprained wrist this season. No date has been set for the procedure.
O'Neal, 33, was averaging 5.0 points and 5.4 rebounds in 25 games in his 16th NBA season.
O'Neal was the 17th overall pick of Portland in the 1996 draft, making the leap from high school.

ATLANTA (AP) -- Ray Allen hit two 3-pointers in Boston's 13-0 run in the fourth quarter and protected the lead with two free throws in the final seconds as the Boston Celtics held on to beat the Atlanta Hawks 79-76 on Monday night.
The Celtics led 73-58 at the end of the run. Joe Johnson, who had 25 points, had three late 3-pointers as the Hawks rallied. Johnson's 3 with...
The Kings started this one off hot, building up a big lead early on against a road weary Celtics, utilizing their youth and athleticism, taking a 26-20 lead after one quarter. The Kings were able to force the ball to Demarcus Cousins while Marcus Thornton and Jason Thompson packed a scoring punch. Behind their captain [...]
