The Knicks prevailed against the Golden State Warriors 109-105 last night at MSG. Over the years, the Mecca of Basketball, nestled in Gotham City on 7th avenue between 33rd and 32nd Streets–a bounce pass away from Macy’s and the Empire State Building, has witnessed command performances by NBA royalty. Stephen Curry dropped 54 points, while conjuring up images of MJ, Kobe, and Lebron. Curry cooked and scintillated the baskets for 50 points in the final 36 minutes. He managed to push the Knicks to the brink of defeat before Golden St. succumbed to missed opportunities in the waning minutes.
