Curry Cooks MSG The Knicks prevailed against the Golden State Warriors 109-105 last night at MSG. Over the years, the Mecca of Basketball, nestled in Gotham City on 7th avenue between 33rd and 32nd Streets–a bounce pass away from Macy’s and the Empire State Building, has witnessed command performances by NBA royalty. Stephen Curry dropped 54 points, while conjuring up  images of MJ, Kobe, and Lebron. Curry cooked and scintillated the baskets for 50 points in the final 36 minutes. He managed to push the Knicks to the brink of defeat before Golden St. succumbed to  missed opportunities in the waning minutes. If you missed last night’s game,  look for it on NBA TV or the MSG encore. It’s truly remarkable. Stephen Curry was all that. His marksmanship upstaged the brilliance of Tyson Chandler. He only had 16 points and 28 rebounds. Moreover he upstaged the Brooklyn natives, Melo and Mark Jackson.  Melo dropped 35 points, and Jackson, “Momma there goes that Man again” was making his MSG coaching
