You cannot be below average and take that many threes per game and if he wants to take that many next season, he will have to at least be a 35% three point shooter, which is average. SG: Vince Carter- Field Goal Percentage - Carter was excellent last season as their sixth man and should be again. He has become one of the best three point shooters in the NBA, as he shot 40.6%, but he only shot 43.5% from the field, which he could stand to improve on. That is in no way a poor percentage, but he can do better and has done so in the past as his career percentage is 44.3%.
