George Karl Wants To Get Rid Of Conferences For NBA Playoffs

When George Karl was asked Saturday if the NBA should get rid of divisions and just have conference standings for the playoffs, he replied ”I’m even crazier than that.” The Nuggets coach would implement a top-16, where the top eight teams from the East and the top eight teams from the West would enter a pool seeded according to records. So, the team with the best record would...

For the third-straight game, Ty Lawson sat out.  It finally caught up to the streaking Denver Nuggets.  Their winning streak came to a close last night with a 110-86 loss to the New Orleans Hornets.  The Nuggets had won their previous 15 games. Lawson is battling heal pain.  The team hopes to have him back soon, and they will need to have him back soon.  Despite the win streak...

George Karl On Denver Nuggets: “I don’t want to hear about my body hurts, I’m sore.”

The Denver Nuggets, led by George Karl, defeated the Sacramento Kings in another win that wasn’t very pretty to watch, and while a “win is a win” George Karl has put the team on notice.  Without Ty Lawson at the helm, the offensive flow that is Denver’s showstopper, has been in a lull in the [...]The post George Karl On Denver Nuggets: “I don’t want to hear about my...

The Denver Nuggets are on the verge of their longest win streak in franchise history, but coach George Karl hasn't been pleased with his team's recent efforts.
