Found January 17, 2013 on Celtics Life:
Dear Mr. Bradley, I am sorry, really sorry, I doubted your Super-powers and the impact one player can make on an ailing roster. Other then that stinker last night, every ones' moral has been higher, people have played better, our defense is BACK, and we are starting to play Boston Celtics basketball. Jason Terry is back resuming his bench role while Courtney Lee is starting to play like the player we signed. At the beginning of the season, I wanted Courtney Lee to start over you. I thought even though last season you had some success, I just thought the injury would be too much for you to overcome this season. I thought Jason Terry had a better offensive game then you so he should probably play more backup two guard. I know these thoughts were crazy, but you have proven me wrong. Our team's defense? Awesome since you have came back. Yes we have had some bad games offensively but defensively I am very impressed. I went to the Warriors game on December 29th and our defense...

Noah's funny response to KG trash talk

Report: Celtics taking a look at Greg Oden

See, who says Danny Ainge doesn't read CelticsLife? When rumors about Greg Oden's possible return to the NBA surfaced, I implored Ainge to take a look at the former Buckeye and Trailblazer (link). Why? Well under the simple premise that 25 year old 7 footers who have put up great rate stats and are willing to possibly accept the league minimum do not exactly grow on trees...

Rajon Rondo and Kevin Garnett are starters for the NBA All-Star Game

It was just announced that Rajon Rondo and Kevin Garnett were voted in by the fans to start in the 2012-13 NBA All-Star game. Rondo and Kevin Garnett led the fan voting for a while, so this comes at no surprise. This is Garnett's 15th all-star game, and Rondo's 4th. Whether or not they deserve it is up to your discretion. They will be starting next to Dwyane Wade, Lebron...

Boston Celtics interested in signing Greg Oden

In light of Chris Wilcox’s injury troubles and Jason Collins … being Jason Collins, Celtics fans have been clamoring for the C’s to acquire a backup center who can rebound and defend. It appears that Danny Ainge agrees; as the Celtics are reportedly keeping an eye on former number one draft pick Greg Oden:Greg Oden, the No. 1 pick in 2007 who hasn’t played in an NBA game...

Trade Rajon Rondo?

Here we are, winners of 6 out of our last 10 games and trying to right our ship, lets see what the writers from Celticslife think in our newest addiction of 5 on 5: 1. The Celtics have been playing really well lately (other then that stinker the other night). What has been the difference? Terry P: Jeff Green. Now look, I have been hard on him PLENTY and still want to trade his...

Comments from the Other Side - Hornets 1/16

The Celtics really lost focus last night and just played terribly.  I mean there's now excuse for a pro team to shoot 37% from the line.  That's lack of focus.  Maybe they all subconsciously were trying to make Austin look better because he's struggling so much and that was their gift to their coach.  Hopefully they get it together for Friday's game.   37% from...

Recap: Celtics offense disintegrates in awful loss to Hornets

The 6 game winning streak was fun while it lasted. Tonight the Celtics treated us to one of those mind-numbing, head-shaking, go-through-the-motion performances we’ve come to hate, yet accept. The result: a 90-78 loss to the Hornets. The Celtics managed just 78 points vs one of the league’s worst defenses. I don’t have a shot chart, but they took A LOT of jumpers. Here’s...

Gang Green Episodes 13 and 14: Cereal and legacies

The fellas did a couple of shows over the past couple of weeks… spanning back to the Kevin Garnett vs. Melo Cheerios thing… Kurt and Dave also spent some time discussing how they would feel about Paul Pierce being traded. They also got into their usual predictions and such, as well as bringing back the Green Kool-Aid King for a week. This will be a great time to mention that...

Rajon Rondo, Kevin Garnett, and Carmelo Anthony Highlight 2013 NBA Eastern Conference All-Star Starters

On Thursday TNT announced the starters of the NBA Eastern and Western Conference All-Star starters. Since we are an Atlantic Division based website, the main starters representing the respected division are Boston Celtics Rajon Rondo and Kevin Garnett, as well as New York Knicks Carmelo Anthony. Your Morning Dump… Where Operation Oden is back

Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them here… highlighting the big storyline. Because there’s nothing quite as satisfying as a good morning dump. Greg Oden, the No. 1 pick in 2007 who hasn’t played in an NBA game since 2009 due to a litany of knee injuries, is aiming for a comeback. Part of Oden’s plan is to sign with a team in the next month and get...

Celtics-Hornets Live: Doc Rivers, Austin Rivers Meet for Family Reunion at TD Garden

12 p.m. ET: It is safe to say that Austin Rivers never envisioned his rookie year being like this. The New Orleans combo guard has had one of the roughest first seasons in memory for a lottery pick, averaging 6.2 points per game while shooting just 32.8 percent from the field. The 10th pick in the June draft has scored one whole point in his last five games and has made only three...

Celtics-Bulls Live: Paul Pierce, C’s Shoot to Regain Winning Form Against Old Friends Tom Thibodeau, Nate Robinson

8 a.m. ET: Not having Derrick Rose has not turned out to be much of a problem for the Chicago Bulls. Then again, that should not be much of a surprise, given their leadership. Former Celtics assistant coach Tom Thibodeau is the head man in Chicago, of course, and under his direction the Bulls have not let the absence of the former NBA Most Valuable Player hold them back. The Bulls...
