With 4.3 seconds left on the game clock, the Toronto Raptors and the Orlando Magic were all tied at 95 a piece. With Toronto having possession, they in-bounded the ball to guard Jose Calderon who immediately swung it to DeMar Derozan. Derozan carried two defenders to the left corner, faded and….. well I’ll just let you see for yourself.

Raptors' DeRozan hits game-winner to beat Magic

ORLANDO -- Hours before Thursday night's game Toronto Raptors coach Dwane Casey talked about teaching his young team "to make winning plays in clutch situations." Guard DeMar DeRozan, obviously, is a quick learner. With two defenders hanging over him, DeRozan came to the rescue, hitting a game-winning, fallaway jumper from 22 feet as time expired, leading the Raptors...

DeMar DeRozan Hits Game Winner Vs. Magic

DeMar DeRozan hits a tough fadeaway as time expires and mean mugs the Orlando Magic as the Toronto Raptors walk away with a 97-95 win:

Raptors 97, Magic 95

ORLANDO -- DeMar DeRozan scored 22 points, including a fallaway jumper at the buzzer, to lead the Toronto Raptors to a 97-95 victory over the Orlando Magic on Thursday night at Amway Center. DeRozen had 14 points in the fourth quarter, including his dramatic 18-foot game-winning shot with two defenders around him. Unheralded center Amir Johnson had 21 points and 10 rebounds for...

DeRozan deflates Magic with buzzer beater

The urgency was awoken within the Magic late in the fourth quarter. Wittling down an 11-point lead would no longer cut it with time running out. Drastic action was needed. A J.J. Redick 4-point play to tie the game with 50 seconds left. A Glen Davis offensive rebound and pass to E'Twaun Moore for a game-re-tying floater with 20 seconds left. A key foul from Davis had the...

Redick takes wife to Bieber concert

Orlando Magic guard JJ Redick spent the night at a Justin Bieber concert, but don't worry -- he went to the concert for his wife.

Glen Davis needs his PB&J

Glen Davis did not have his best game Tuesday night in Detroit. The Magic's big man scored 11 points, but hit on just 4 of his 16 field goal attempts. Davis was particularly frustrated after the game, telling Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel among the assembled media that he played like garbage and he needs to do better. For what it is worth, Jacque Vaughn said Davis...

Nikola Vucevic double-doubles (19 and 14) in 30 minutes, sits fourth quarter

Nikola Vucevic didn't play in the fourth quarter but still finished with a double-double (19 points and 14 rebounds). Vucevic did his damage in just 30 minutes. Orlando coach Jacque Vaughn told Magic beat writer Josh Robbinsthat he sat the center in the fourth quarter due to matchups. Vucevic added three blocks and an assist in the loss. He's 79-percent owned in Yahoo...

Magic's offense finally finds its rhythm

There is one positive for the Magic even through this stretch of losing 15 of 17 games. While the defense has fallen apart, the offense has picked up the slack and has played extremely well. In the last 10 games (where Orlando has gone 2-8, mind you), the Magic have had an average offensive rating of 106.9. The team's offensive rating for the season is 103.2, good for 21st...

Glen Davis Tries To Eat Aaron Gray’s Face (VIDEO)

Glen “Big Baby” Davis is a really, really, really weird dude.  On top of being a really, really, really weird dude, he also has a volatile temperament.  Davis leads the Orlando Magic with three technical fouls this season, and he has always been known to let his emotions get the best of him.  As a Boston Celtic, Big Baby once cried on the bench after Kevin Garnett gave him...

Celtics Interested in JJ Redick

While everyone has been talking about the Lakers downfall, the Celtics haven’t been that much better. They are looking old and shooting horribly lately, so they are looking to bring in some help before trading deadline. Hearing Celts, even before season-worst 7-for-32 shooting from 15+ feet in NYK loss, have ramped up their interest in Magic’s J.J. Redick — Marc Stein (@ESPNSteinLine...

Cavs (12-32) at Raptors (16-27) - Game 45

OPENING TIP No East team outside the Central Division seems to give the Cavs more fits than the very mediocre Raptors, who have won four straight games at The Q. Fortunately for the Cavs, Saturdays game is in Toronto, where they typically fare better (although they dropped a 113-99 decision there earlier this year). But theres no denying the young Cavs are finding themselves, having...

Cavaliers 99, Raptors 98

TORONTO -- Kyrie Irving scored 32 points, including the winning 3-pointer in the final second, as the Cleveland Cavaliers came back to defeat the Toronto Raptors 99-98 Saturday before a crowd of 18,820 at Air Canada Centre. The Cavaliers, who trailed by as many as 11 points in the game, got 17 points off the bench by Marreese Speights and 14 points from Toronto native Tristan...

Pistons-Magic Preview

While they made some strides defensively in their last game, the Orlando Magic couldn't put a dent in their lengthy slump. The free-falling Magic will try to snap a four-game skid and win for only the third time in 18 games Sunday night when they host the Detroit Pistons. Wins have been awfully tough to come by for Orlando, regardless of the venue or strength of its opponent...
